it would be so simple to leave a one word review of "yuck", but i will elaborate.
the atmosphere -- it was well lit, springsteen BLARING, and sandwich guy greeted us pleasantly.
customer service -- sandwich dude explained the menu, told us his favorites over the loud music but it was difficult to hear him. it also seemed as if he had a hard time hearing us. we were the only customers in the shop at around 3 pm on a saturday. seriously, no menu should need that level of explaining and if for some reason it did, having the music at a lower level would help.
the food -- here is where 'yuck' really comes into play. sandwich guy only seemed to know how to prepare everything "mike's way"™. He was not even listening as we were saying 'hold the mayo' as he slathered mayo on everything. he claimed the sandwich meats were cut fresh, right in front of the customer and indeed they were. sadly, crappy meat is crappy meat, no matter where or when it is cut. so the meat was sub par, cheese was skimpy, sandwich toppings were minimal (which an abundance of pre cut lettuce could not hide), the bread was tough and our orders got mayo'd whether we wanted it or not
not going back. oh, and the price for 3 sandwiches, 2 chips and 1 drink was $36 for a bag of yuck.

Read moreGot a sandwich from there twice now and both times sad mayonnaise on it and not have the add-ons that I paid for and asked for, 60-80$ there in the last two orders which is ridiculously overpriced and they've been wrong both times, when calling to get help with the issue at hand, I was not greeted with any source of help or want to solve the matter I was greeted more so with intent of investigating of me trying to get a free sandwich out of them and or just cause a ruckus for no reason therefore I recommend not going to this place for anybody therefore their sandwiches might be good I've heard from some people but their service and their sandwiches have been both absolutely horrible for me both times now with little help to make right or adjust the matter, just a large corporation trying to make money off people not looking to really make good food and do what their industry is...

I came in to pick up a 35$ order and I see no working on it. There where no customer's and clean tables. I ask an employee if they are going to make it and I get a very bad attitude from both employees. They acted like I was bothering them while they chatted with each other. There behavior made sense once I asked to talk to a manager, NO MANAGER. I will be sending a complaint to the headquarters and bringing this up with the store manager. This is not Jersey Mike's Subs fault, it is bad employees that don't understand customer service. They are the public face of the business at all times and they need to understand what that means. I would have let the attitude slide if they had at least been working...
