Chatties Lounge 1988 — Restaurant in Chincoteague

My friend loved her fried chicken. My other one loved her New York Strip steak. They both described it as perfect. I wanted to get seafood so I got the Seafood dream of crab imperial, scallops, and shrimp topped with mozzarella. I was really disappointed in it, especially since it was so expensive and as a seafood restaurant I expected my meal to be amazing. The cheese was so thick and the while thing just tasted flavorless. I enjoyed it the least out of the three seafood restaurants I went to. The waitress seemed annoyed I asked for her opinion on what to get and you cannot substitute anything in any dishes ( I surmised from the few questions I asked). Least friendly staff out of all 5...

The food is nothing special. The atmosphere could use some updates. The main reason for the one star rating is the service. The lounge is upstairs. They added a chair lift since the last time we were there so they obviously have people who have difficulty with stairs. You have to go upstairs to see the sign that says hostess on duty and the hostess is downstairs! The waitress didn't say "welcome to chatties" or would you like the bar or a table she said do you need something? And she was rude about it. We were looking at 4 empty tables and were told they had no where to seat us. We left and went to Teaguers. The food was better and so was...

To start it took close to 40 minutes to get our drinks. Our server was friendly and polite but VERY very slow. The restaurant was not that busy, but the food took a very long time to come. 2 ordered medium cooked prime rib which came very well done. 9 people in our group with 9 people complaining the service was terrible and the food just so so. Much better places to choose from...
