Worth the wait. We ordered 4 pizzas yesterday at 6:30 and had an hour wait, but it was worth it. They text you when you order is ready so you don't have to stand there in the heat. They do not take online or phone orders, walk up only. I can see why. They are a little food truck with a small oven, but they make big flavor. These are more Neapolitan style pizzas. 12 inches, and a thin crust with burnt edges (just like in Italy). Most folks will eat a pizza by themselves or, at least 3/4 of it. The toppings are awesome and not overdone, just enough. I really liked the PepperPony with the Sweet Heat. (its a hot honey sauce). They have a nice selection. BTW, great customer service. They called to let me know they were out of mushrooms, and asked what I wanted instead. Then they threw in a free pizza for my inconvenience. I will be back, but at 4:00, when they open to avoid...
Read moreRecently bought a home on the island, we had eaten there once a few months back and the pizza was pretty good, long wait tho. The past three days in a row we tried to call to put an order in, finally we drove there at 3 and they were sold out, said they opened again tomorrow at 11am. Ok, so we tried calling the next day... we called 7 times in a two hour time period and not a single call was answered... again we drove there... the sign says they’re sold out again.... so you tell me to call back the next day to place an order but then don’t answer the phone... any of the times it rings. If you’re sold out for the day perhaps a separate voicemail setting should be put in place. It’s like pulling teeth trying to eat here. We won’t bother anymore until they learn to run a...
Read moreAnother shockingly good food truck in Chincoteague! The pizza is exceptional, made in a wood fired oven right in the truck. We only had time for a pepperoni and plain pie but excited to try the more exotic on our next trip. Plenty of large tables, more space to spread out than most of the trucks on the beach road. Nice corn hole set-up, easy parking. They do very busy and backed up, call to put your order in if you can. Also bring your own cold beverages, they had just a few sodas and water bottles left and no cups or ice. They were super friendly young guys working there (seems...
