We went one day and took our kids... had a good time.. & said Can't wait to invite all of our family and friends!""
Disappointed!
The 2nd time visiting.... I wanted to celebrate my son's 18th birthday and called a few days prior to the day we were planning on coming in for reservations.... And they said I couldn't reserve that it was 1st come 1st serve.. And that all my guests needed to be present in order to get seated So, I let all of my guests know to be early so they can seats us. All my guests were on time... expect for "Birthday Boy" Of course, we were supposed to all be there for the Suprise!
Anyway, I told the host the number of guests and told that I had called in a few days ago, but they they said I needed to just come in. She calls a manager... they are trying to figure things out... then another girl approaches the Front, and I told her, "Mam, all my guests are here for seating; it's 22 of us... And she says, "ok... We are just waiting for a few more tables to free up so we can seat you." I said, ok?
Then we get seated... & we are short 5 seats! My son "Birthday Boy" and 5 other guests didn't have seats. I told the server excuse me we are short a table... He says okay. Don't worry, I got you.
Time passes, maybe like 30 minutes or so, and my guests are still standing!
I told some of my boys, "Let's grab this table... it's empty!
Then a girl (the same girl that approached the front host table) says Excuse me mam these are for a party of 10! I said I understand, but I told you and the hosts that my group was 22 and you said that you had it... My guest has been standing for like 30 minutes! I asked to speak to a manager, and she said (Rudly) Mam, I am the manager!
I was like, ok? Then I need to speak somebody higher, because you are the one that I told I had 22 guests and I still have guest Standing! So I had guests standing over an hour!
Very disappointed, because I had told our family and friends about this place and to receive that kind of attitude from a "Manager "
Maybe I should report them to the Better...
Read moreI've always been a fan of the food here. Even with Heroes & Legends in Claremont (Same owner). Unfortunately this place is plagued with a sad reality that they put the majority of it's service into the Bar patrons instead of the restaurant patrons. They know where the majority of their revenue comes from and it's from alcohol and those sitting at the bar to watch sports.
I was just there tonight with a group of us and things started off good and slowly ended rough.
Basically after our food came there were a few things wrong with our orders. No one came back to check on us to see how everything was. The main thing that was wrong is they let my sandwich sit for too long and it was hard, flavorless and fell apart after the first bite. (Sigh) I waited 10 min for someone to check back on our table... nobody did. So I had to find someone to help. At this point I lost my appetite and everyone else had eaten the majority of their food.
They offered to replace the wrong items I no longer wanted the food I ordered because of the poor service and even worse execution of timing when food should come out.
This was my first time out eating inside a restaurant post COVID and this is the service I got. I was shocked. Haven't we learned anything over the past year?
I will say the service improved after I complained about the food. But, it was too late for me to be satisfied with this service. We will probably not return. It doesn't matter how good the food tastes or looks if your service...
Read moreGreat place to watch Sunday NFL games!
We decided to give this place a shot for some morning football games. Glad we did. This place is about as top notch as top notch gets.
You must get there early. They open at 10am and there is going to be a line of people. A shot caller arranges for you and your party to be seated ASAP near the TV(s) showing your game of choice. Servers are all over the place waiting on you instantly. Mind you, this is a description of Sunday.
Food is phenomenal. Huge portions priced around $10 to $12 per plate. So huge are the portions that they easily feed two to three people. Food delivery times are in the 5 minutes to 10 minutes range.
Beers are ice cold and the selection of beers include the usual suspects plus local breweries thrown in for good measure. They have a full bar and Sunday has a memosa special.
There is a patio section as well, but no TVs outside.
While waiting in line to be seated you can order some drinks and chill. They will call you when your table is ready.
Chicken wings are meaty. Good flavor and spicy. Again, one serving feeds two unless you are a big guy with a hearty appetite. Sandwiches are great and what they are most known for.
They have lots of breakfast items for those who get there at opening.
We've also been here at night when they have bands. The bands are quite good and the atmosphere is like a party.
Overall I'd say this place rocks and if you are looking for a good time, you're sure to...
