We went to lunch with another couple after church. It wasn't crowded yet and we were seated immediately. The staff and service was excellent. Our server Emily returned several times to check on us and was quick to bring anything we needed. She anticipated when we needed drink refills and brought them. The manager on duty also came by twice to check on us. We all ordered the 2/$25+ option. Our friends both got the chicken salad and artichoke dip appetizer which they enjoyed. My husband and I like getting the 2 salads rather than the appetizer. He ordered the tequila/ lime chicken, which is a favorite of ours for the $2.50 extra and it he said it was excellent. I decided to try the new Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo. I asked Emily if I could have a grilled chicken breast instead of the fried one that came with it and she agreed. I really liked the grilled breast. It was tender and juicy and was great with the sauce and cheese on top. The fettuccine not so much. The top of it was dried out like it had been sitting awhile and the noodles were gooey and stuck together like they weren't fresh. The sauce tasted good though. The breads stick it came with was also dry and hard on the bottom even though it had butter(?) on it, so after 2 bites I left it as it wasn't worth the calories. I didn't say anything about the fettuccine not being great because I didn't want to make an issue of it when we were dining with friends. I just ate it. I will probably try this again once it isn't so new and they have more experience preparing it. Lastly, I am not a fan of those gizmos on the table where you are supposed to pay yourself. Emily did tell us to let her know if we needed help with it. Yes, we did have trouble with it and had to ask for help. It is very frustrating to have an enjoyable meal and then have to fight those machines to pay. Overall, we had a nice lunch with friends and...
Read moreToday, I want to share a quick blog post about one of my favorite places to unwind after work with my coworkers - Applebee's.
There's something special about the atmosphere at Applebee's that keeps us coming back time and time again. Whether we're craving a scrumptious bite to eat or a refreshing drink, this place never disappoints.
One of the highlights of our visits is the bartender. They're not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to mixing up the perfect drink. It's like they have a magical touch that turns every sip into a moment of pure delight.
Whether we're in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more adventurous, the bartender's expertise never fails to impress. They always have great recommendations and are happy to cater to our individual preferences. It feels like they can read our minds when it comes to finding the perfect drink to suit our tastes.
But it's not just the drinks that make Applebee's special. The food menu is filled with mouthwatering options that cater to every craving. From juicy burgers to flavorful appetizers, there's something for everyone. And let's not forget about the irresistible desserts that always leave us wanting more.
The best part is that our experience at Applebee's is never rushed. We can relax, enjoy our meals, and have meaningful conversations with our coworkers without feeling hurried. It's the perfect place to unwind and bond after a long day at work.
So, if you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy good food, great drinks, and a warm ambiance, I highly recommend giving Applebee's a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Cheers to memorable evenings with coworkers and the amazing team...
Read moreI went there to have the $1 monthly drink special after work. But as we got there and sat down, I already felt a bad vibe there by the waiters (could be we were there late). So we were all discussing how good these drinks are and love how the special is still going on. My coworkers and I do go frequently to other applebee locations for happy hour... but this one in Chino, by far is the worst location to go and have drinks. Our waiter had us "waiting" for an extended time. I had to ask for service, and that's when Joe came up. He did take our order and brought the drinks. Then came back right away and said last call, which we ordered another round. Had they not make us wait a good 15 to 20 min sitting there with our heads turningto make some kind of eye contact, we would've already had our appetizer and drinks in. I understand it was late and were near closing time... but there was still 1 hour and minutes to go by the time we were serviced. Bad service right? Well i can't leave this out either... but another fella, not sure if it was the bartender, forgive me if it wasn't, but he had his little sarcastic comment as well. He said dont they know what last call means. After that, we just asked for the bill and paid... then took off to another restaurant. We will never go back again! And we will warn everyone to stay away from there and go to any other applebee location if they want better service. I'm gonna give it up to San Dimas! They have been the best during happy...
