Java Hut — Restaurant in Chippewa Township

When end are on a weekday. I ordered an acai bowl and paid. They were really busy I went and walked through the store for some things needed. Asked a store employee if they still carried a particular product in which they said they didn't know anything about. That store employee then in turn asked another employee who is very abrupt and rude and stated that they wouldn't know because that would be the buyer's job. So I purchased what I had in my hand. I went back to pick up my acai bowl. The line of a dozen people had dissipated down to one other person who's drink was handed to her as I walked up. The staff behind the counter looked at me a few times and then finally asked if I had been helped. I stated I purchased an acai bowl. Another employee asked the who rung me up if he started the acai bowl and he said no. The 3rd employee said she didn't have a receipt for my acai bowl. At this point they have served all dozen customers 8 came in after me. I requested a refund and when processing the refund they gave the refund to someone else's card. I stated that wasn't my card and pulled up my purchase on my app. She then found my card and said she completed the refund. She did not. I walked out without an acai bowl and still no refund.

Java Hut is amazing! Abby is the best "boss babe"! We love everything about it. I guess so one reviewed saying just go to McDonalds. Does McDonald's sell drinks with your health and specific needs in mind? Do they sell foods with your health and/or allergies/sensitivities/restrictions in mind? Do they offer gluten free options? Do they have the added bonus of being able to pickup clean, natural foods, skin care, supplements and cleaning products? I think no. I will pay what Health Hut and @java hut are charging every time, because #supportingsmallbusinessowners ,#shoppinglocal and MY HEALTH AND WELLNESS are worth it EVERY.. SINGLE...TIME. Forget dunkin, forget mcdonalds, forget starbucks. Java hut is where it's at! After trying it once (and I'm not much of a coffee drinker), I am now a daily customer. We make sure to get my son's teacher a Cinnamon Roll Latte at least once a week and said says its the highlight of her week!

From their lattes to their refreshers to their food, everything is absolutely amazing. Their customer service... superb! A bonus? Health hut being attached. My little ones love getting their own fun sized cart and doing their own shopping and checking out.

They are also on Doordash which is a plus when you are unable to leave the house with sick kids.
