We have had to return molded and spoiled foods to this aldis 4x within one month. None of the managers gs r given us a problem with honoring their double guarantee policy even without a receipt. Most managers have been apologetic and nice about the returns. Today we walked in the store with two Packs of molded cheese that we jus purchased and spoiled milk dated to expire Aug 28th. The cashier was willing to honor the double guarantee but there was a manager who’s was name was Sam(red head guy) , that was rude, uncaring, racist and refused to honor their double guarantee policy and after being told we never had a problem with it being honored, he spoke against the other managers that had honored it before and stated that they didn’t know what they were doing. I've heard complaints about the produce but I've always been happy with what I picked out. Not a big store but efficiently run. Pretty much you do it yourself for everything except ringing you out, which is part of the cost savings. We'll worth it in my opinion. Update: Even with ridiculous inflation, this is still the best place to get groceries. There are a few things I prefer to buy elsewhere, like the cereals... I just prefer the name brands of cereals. Read moreI heard a lot of good things about Aldis’ and with my sister and I moving out we decided to give it a try! Today will be the first and last day that we shop here. Customer service was terrible. Our cashier treated us like we were idiots. She had an attitude the entire time and when checking out our items she was sliding them so hard off the scanner that she smushed our bread and cracked a jar of our spaghetti sauce which thank god didn’t explode all over our groceries. I’m never one to complain about bad customer service but today’s experience really got under my skin! If I could’ve talked to a manager today I would’ve, because her attitude was very unacceptable.
