I went thru the drive thru about 20 min to close at the Christiansburg VA location tonight 9-20-2025. I ordered a cheese and egg biscuit combo with juice and then wanted some booberry biscuits. But thought they'd be old. The young lady taking my order assured me that all of my food would be fresh.. Obviously i figured the biscuit would be older bc i don't expect them to drop a new pan off biscuits just for me right at close. I have to say, from the service of the young lady taking my order, to the young man that brought out my food and even the young lady getting off work i spoke to in the parking lot first, this was the absolute nicest most respectful group of workers I've ever encountered at a Bojangles. They were not bothered by it being closing time and did not treat me like i was an inconvenience to them. They treated me like the store had just opened and they were ready to start their day instead of end it.. These 3 need some definite recognition for their great work and dedication to their customer and best customer service around. So i had to take a minute to make sure i let others know how wonderful they did. I've had many bad experiences late night at restaurants before by the staff just wanting out of there and they don't care about you being happy with your order. But not these 3. So thank you all very very much. I truly appreciate all your kindness and hard work. I had just gotten off work and was exhausted and starving and i enjoyed my food probably better than any breakfast sandwich I've had in years. Keep up the great work. Read moreSo, this restaurant has made my order wrong the past 2 times I went there. 1st time was forgiven, 2nd time I called to have it replaced. The supervisor on duty got my name and phone number and told me I could come back by to receive a replacement meal. About a week later, I go to get my replacement and was told without the receipt they could not replace my order and could not find my name in the book. The boy that came to the window was definitely the one who supposedly took my information down because I remember his "voice". The 1st crew member who contacted the another manager only wanted to see proof of when the date was, and as I was trying to locate the transaction on my phone, the other boy tells me no. So where did my name go, that you were supposed to have written down in the book? Customer service socks these days and this Bojangles is an embarrassment to the chain and they are EXTREMELY slow with their service. Word of advice, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, check your food here before leaving the restaurant. Even if it risks holding up their line. I wouldn't even normally come on here and complain, but this situation was not handled professionally at all. Especially with the cost of food at a restaurant these days, my money is precious to me. Read more'Partner and I were hungry. Noticed they finally opened this Bo's, and we b-lined it there. Got a 10 deluxe with the blueberry biscuit. My mom and I used to have those all the time, we'd get there at the break of dawn to get the fresh ones. Despite it being almost midnight, they were decently warm and broke like they were freshly baked. Deluxe chicken was good, tad better than the Chick-fil-A across the road, especially at the price. Customer service was great too- again- despite the time of night.
UPDATE: Finally went to dine in a bit after writing this review. It was chaotic. I can't tell if it was self-entitled customers or under-skilled staff- but dine-in was polarizing compared to drive-thru. Ordered the same thing as last time. The chicken sandwich was more than 50% breading and tasted way different that what I had a couple days ago, blueberry biscuits included.
I'll be a devils advocate here and say the majority of the staff looked fairly new to food service, especially the guy dealing with cold chicken complaints- but I haven't been back since then. It's not worth the drive for blueberry biscuits. I could make those at home...
