Five Guys — Restaurant in Christiansburg

So Never ate at Five Guys Before! I must say I was quite impressed.upon pulling up the parking area out front was very clean no trash or litter on sidewalk.upon walking in I was Greeted with a smile and a "welcome to Five guys" from the staff. The inside dining area was very clean,well organized and looked as if was freshly moped! They were in the middle of Training a new crew member. Was Greeted by Two young ladies at the front counter and I Told them I was new to their establishment. I asked what was the "Best Burger in the house "Tay" who was I Believe a "shift leader" recommended the "Bacon cheeseburger all the way" also I must add all the Toppings are FREE..BONUS...I wasn't feeling the Bacon that day so I went with the same burger and no Bacon. I have to say it's been awhile that I've found a burger Joint that could give me a Burger the way Burgers should be. FIVE GUYS did just That. If you get a burger and you don't have juices flowing down your hands while you eat it MTO FRESH then you ain't at the right place. The Burgers are 100% Beef cooked to perfection on a Flat top grill! I also opted for the Cajun fries which Tay said "They got a little kick" she was 100% on point! Overall I'll give FIVE GUYS AN A++! Now also I will say perfection doesn't come cheap neither does quality but this place is one you don't want to pass by! Oh did I mention the fries are made using 100% Idaho potatoes. They also have peanuts in the shell for you to snack on while your meal is prepared! The condiment section was ultra clean and neatly stocked! I was left thinking could this place get any Better?! I am now a Fan of FIVE GUYS and if you go there I'm sure you will be too, if you like your Burgers fresh and sloppy but sloppy in the way a burger should be! I will be going back to try one of their awesome looking shakes as well! Who knows maybe I'll see you there. If your in the christiansburg area put this place in your Google maps and stop by they also Have Hot Dogs as well! If you see "TAY" SHE won't Steer you wrong on suggestions, HER LEADERSHIP QUALITES ARE TO BE COMMENDED. FRIENDLY,FUN AND YUMMY THE WAY A BURGER JOINT SHOULD BE! FIVE GUYS YOUVE MADE ME A FAN CANT WAIT TO GET BACK FOR THOSE...

Hands down, the BEST burgers anywhere we've gone. Yes there is a Five Guys cult but it's warranted. Yes, you will pay more here, but as my wife says... "Honey, it's WORTH IT." Not sure what kind of magic these folks are conjuring up behind that grill but these burgers dropped down straight from heaven. Really the only thing we haven't liked here are the cajun spiced fries, but that's just down to taste. The regular fries are insanely good. So good that you will make yourself sick on them. Just... cannot... stop eating them.

Five Guys is a little loud and not a place to have a quiet conversation but that's not really why you go here. When you have a craving for "that burger" - the one you can't find at fast food places or other sit down restaurants, no matter how much you've paid for it - Five Guys is your destination. Trust us, we have tried them all and nothing compares to this except maybe what our dads made on the grill when we were kids.

They also have some features you might not be aware of so pay attention. Even though you are paying a premium here, all the toppings are free - as many as you want. Now that's kind of a catch-22 situation because these burgers are so good you don't really NEED a ton of toppings. But if you want every topping on the board, they will do it for you no charge. Also they have two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and refills are free also. So take advantage.

Finally, don't sleep on the secret menu! You can ask for a Patty Melt, a Grilled Cheeseburger (Grilled cheese for buns. Yes, please?) and for you keto people - ask for the burger bowl. You're welcome. Seriously though, there might be better burgers out there but we haven't found one yet. If you love burgers and you haven't ventured into a Five Guys yet - do it soon. This C'burg location represents...

This is the second time in a row that I had a bad experience ordering food from Five Guys in CBurg through the app.

Because the app does not notify the store when you tap the button “Notify Store I Am Here” they don’t drop your fries unless you notify them.

As a result you always have to stand and wait at least 5-10min for fries because the restaurant can’t handle the interruption to their work flow.

Last time the manager apologized and told me what to do so we tried again. This experience was horrible because the MOD was horrible and not Customer focused, even a little.

I watched my burger sit for 5min getting cold because the manager messed up our other burger while training a new employee. They needed new bacon so she grabbed the basket which was above my burger, dropping all the bacon grease and pieces on my burger. Gross.

When they finally fixed the other burger and wrapped them both up, our fries were gone so they had to drop more.

The picture below shows how many fries they gave us for a large cajun fry. They were rushing so much that they didn’t fill up the cup. The cost of our meal for 1 little bacon cheeseburger, 1 cheeseburger and 1 large cajun fries was $37! This was a sad waste of our hard...
