I am an out of towner that comes here every two weeks for work. This is a great little restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. Until it isnt. First of all, they're closed on Mondays. You won't find that on any of the sites or their location. So, when you've had a 14 hour day and have to manage your time wisely and have been thinking about the best wings you've ever had, better make sure it isnt Monday. I travel for work coast to coast and border to border, I have bragged on these wings since I came here in December. I visit a couple times a week when Im in town and look forward to the wings. Not anymore. They have lost me as a customer. Tonight I went in well before the posted closing time only to find the place empty. Im ok with that. I spoke with the bartender and told him I was merely looking for some to go wings and a cocktail while I wait. He sent the order in and I paid my tab leaving a hefty tip for the bartender. Once I took my order back to the hotel (.3 miles) I was absolutely disappointed to find my wings cold. Not like, cool, or even room temperature, freaking COLD. Straight out of the cooler, tossed in sauce, COLD!!! They weren't even as tender as they usually are because they were COLD!!! I called back and spoke to the bartender that served me. He apologized and recommended I return to have it corrected. After a 14 hour day you think I wanna return to have my meal spit in??? No Im good. But they did lose a customer for life and Ill no longer be recommending this place to my colleagues who will be in town for a very long time to work. One less place to eat in...
Read moreWe were a party of 5 (including 2 kids) and spent over 2 hours here. Our server legitimately didn't care about her job. We watched several tables walk out and honestly I wish we would have followed them.
We couldn't find our server, and when we could locate her she was chatting with a table of guests she obviously knew. There were only two servers on, but it wasn't a staffing shortage. Both servers had 4 tables at most during our time there and almost every table was dirty (not bussed after guests left 30+ minutes earlier).
When our food finally arrived we were given completely empty A1 AND ketchup bottles. Again, couldn't find our server so I just grabbed bottles off of a dirty table.
I ordered a house margarita with our drink order and a second before our food arrived (an hour later). The second margarita was never brought to me. When we asked for our check she remembered my margarita. I said not to worry about it, but she said it was already made and asked if I'd like it to go....okay I guess. After getting to the car I realized she had charged me $8/margarita when the house margaritas should have been a special at $2.
I feel bad writing a bad review, but this was remarkably bad service all the way around. The Bburg location had lackluster service at times, but nothing like this. We will not...
Read moreFood was great, but everyone working there was wearing gloves, except for our waitress. We watched one guy use the same gloves to bus a table, use a computer, take someone their check, and then take someone drinks. No one is changing their gloves between patrons. Even the manager was wearing them to hand out food. Luckily our waitress wasn’t wearing them, so I made sure to thank her, because we almost left. As a health care provider, proper hand washing and use of hand sanitizer prevents transmission of germs, but wearing the same gloves to serve large numbers of people, without changing them, and touching used plates/cups and then new plates/cups, is disgusting. It protects yourself, but it doesn’t protect the people you are serving. It’s the same as not washing your hands all day, as you touch the germs and pass them to others. Food was good, but using gloves in such a manner will definitely spread the virus, should one cup or plate have it on it from a sick patron. We...
