Breakers Roar Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Christiansted

Tucked into a quiet corner of the Christiansted waterfront beyond the bustle of the beer-slinging bars and buskers, Breakers Roar is an oasis for anyone looking for more than a barstool on the boardwalk. As your eyes adjust to this dark speakeasy of a tiki bar, you’ll note the care and cost invested: brass lion heads adorn the bar railing near rich red leather stools; puffer fish lamps glow beside a Leeteg-esque black velvet painting; an old copper diving helmet with illuminated eyes hangs ominously over a table.

Came in a little after 10pm, a few spots were open and the vibes was chill. We grabbed a booth, browsed the menu (classy), admired the decor while we waited on the bartender. She was very sweet, pleasant and extremely helpful in selecting a cocktail. The drinks we aesthetically pleasing, large in size and very decorative. Bathrooms are shared with King Christian Hotel, located near the rear of bar (outside), clean facilities with simple design elements. Excellent location on the board walk, near the pickup location for Hotel on the cay. Highly recommend a Friday night cocktail with a charming location to admire. Looking forward to...

Do not waste time. They were great before covid and now a menu with 8 items on it and 3 they don't have. I would say no big deal except when we ordered what they had with 2 drinks we had to follow up with drinks 20 minutes later and then an hour later check on food order and find out they didn't even start it yet. Left and paid for drinks that was 28$ for 2. Way to expensive for watered down well drinks in virgin islands. Not even an apology. Way to many choices on board walk. Sad and Disappointed...
