Went to this local spot, it’s a Matcha stand outside the Thai restaurant. Service was 1 star it was 2 teenagers managing the front and wasn’t greeted or asked like hey is it your first time, have you tried us? Or recommendations. It was my first time and it’s like I had to ask the 2 young girls if they were the ones taking order or going to help me since I wasn’t greeted. There was nobody else waiting for their order to be taken. There was 2 groups waiting for their drinks and somehow their drinks got mixed up and their entire order had to be remade since it was given to the incorrect customer. Even the customer was upset because one was even forgotten and probably waited almost 30 minutes to be given the correct order. I waited at least 20 minutes or more for my drink. My matcha had potential for it to be improved but it tastes watered down I had the Tiramisu matcha and was extremely overpriced $9 for the drink, expect it from a shop at a coffee shop I can sit down, but decided to support small business. Won’t be back due to the taste,...
Read moreI recently got introduced to 12 Hour Matcha by my gf Alexa, who’s a regular here—and now I totally understand why she keeps coming back. This place is a hidden gem. The vibe is super calming, minimal, and welcoming, with a clear focus on quality and craft.
I had their double matcha and Matcha einspanner and honestly, it’s right up there with the best I’ve had—even comparable to Community Goods Café in Los Angeles. If you’ve been to Community Goods, you know their matcha game is strong, but 12 Hour Matcha might actually be better. The flavor is clean, smooth, and rich without being overly sweet or bitter. Just really well done.
Beyond that, the staff knows their stuff, and the whole experience feels thoughtful and intentional—from the drink presentation to the serene atmosphere. Whether you’re a hardcore matcha fan or just getting into it, this place is 100% worth a visit.

Read moreDrove here to try the banana pudding matcha after seeing a TikTok about it but to my disappointment, when I arrived I learned that they were sold out and didn’t know when they’d be serving it again. I decided to try one of the other drinks listed as “popular” - the mango matcha - because I love mango as much as I love matcha. It was one of the worst drinks I’ve had. The matcha was watery and there was barely any matcha taste - maybe that’s why they ask if you want to add an extra scoop for extra money. The overall taste was just bland and dissatisfying, and yes, that’s even after mixing the drink to blend all the layers (mango, vanilla foam, matcha) together. I won’t be returning even if they bring the banana...
