Very friendly staff, more of an order Togo place than sit down with only 3 small tables, 1 inside and 2 outside. Food service was very fast, took only 2-3 minutes for a crispy pork belly banh mi sandwich, seemed more like the meats were premade and ready for orders. Unfortunately it was bland in flavor for me. Bread was fresh, soft inside with crunchy outside but not toasted. Pork belly was also cold so the fat chunks were not as tasty and a bit congealed. I've been in San Diego for over a week. This is easily the best place I've visited and I eat out every day. For example, you can not find Bahn Mi viet sandwiches with pate anymore. Seattle doesn't have pate and most of the shops here don't have it either. This place has the pate spread and it's heaven on earth. Not only is the quality of the sandwich amazing, but the price is more than fair. Look at the size of the sandwich.
