I was referred to Alex by a friend. I had bought some after market brand speakers, subwoofer, subwoofer box and amplifiers for my 2023 Tacoma. I Brought it all to Big City Car Audio and Alex said please return these speakers and subwoofer. I will recommend you something with better quality such as a head unit, 6x9 infinity kappas for the front and 6.5 for the rear, DS18 tweeters, sound deadening for all four doors and a much more cost affective subwoofer than the ones I had purchased for the box. Alex kept me updated with pictures through out the entire project. I picked up the truck at the end of the day and was amazed with the new sounds. I had the truck for one week, realized that there were some rattling noises coming from the back seat. Brought the truck back to Alex and he recommend a better quality box custom made for my truck along with sound deadening for the rear cabin wall that separates the cabin from the bed. He also retuned all speakers, tweeters and subwoofer. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than what I had heard in the last week, oh boy it was mind blowing! Now my truck sounds LOUD, CLEAN, and CLEAR with some decent bass coming from the 10" kicker Comp RT. I should have went to Alex from the beginning prior to making my shopping list to save me time from returning a few items. I Definitely will take my wife's vehicle to big city car audio for some work to be done. Alex is honest, he won't recommend anything you don't need. I'm taking my review from Rush Exotic and posting it here. I'm back in Spring Valley for a couple of months and went to visit the owner. I was told he retired. My in-laws neighbor asked if I went over to the new place. I didn't know they moved, I was told he retired. I went over and the new place is huge. Even a lockable gated area in the rear of the building to bring my RV over for work to be done. I've had the Jeep and the RV windows tinted and he is also working in the new location. I'll be bringing my motorcycle here to have some work done. Here is my review from Rush: Traveled from New Jersey to California in my 37' RV visiting family in Spring Valley. My wife and I drove by Sunday night and saw this place lit up. I said ohhhh, I can use them. Called Monday night came in Tueaday at 10 AM to have a radio/monitor installed and purchase a new back up camera. There was plenty of room for me to park. These guys go above and beyond and are the nicest people I've met in a while. The best part is they're not here to rip you off. Superb service and great products. We used Big City Car Audio for our three cars. A fantastic team to work with from start to finish with their endeavor to do everything perfect and with great attention to detail. The store owner Alex couldn’t have been more helpful and went above and beyond. The staff have always been extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, even if I want to test out dash cameras, audio, tinted windows, car alarms and lights etc., we were very impressed by their service. they have always been 100% helpful and have even gone out of their way a few times to help us out when needed!! . Absolutely amazing business and people working there! We are so happy with all three of our cars! And most important, we were treated like family. Alex and his staff are both the best!
