Divina Matcha — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Divina is branching out with this new spot wedged between Divina Coffee and Burritos and Divina Brunch Cafe in Chula Vista.

The matcha here is great. They use a terrific ceremonial grade pure matcha with no additive, especially sweeteners, which I like very much. I had two match lattes from her thus far: the coco matcha with notes of coconut and the vanilla match that comes with a delicious vanilla foam on top.

Although both were delicious, my favorite so far was the coco matcha. It was well balanced with a great clean matcha flavor and subtle hints of coconuts. The vanilla foam on the vanilla matcha was very good and not overly sweet as I prefer. I certainly look forward to trying strawberry matcha and banana matcha in the near future.
