Star Gazer Club — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Drinks are okay and pricier than other mom and pop clubs/bars similar to it. They have karaoke on Thursday nights. If you do go look for Sonya she's one of the best bartenders there and she's funny. They could use some new chairs and tables. There was this one female bartender I had never seen before who was super rude to me on a Wednesday night. She was drinking on the job...like A LOT. Meaning her eyes were red, her speech was a little slurred, and she messed up BOTH OF THE DRINKS I PAID FOR! So I left the drinks there and walked out. I'll never go there again after work on a Wednesday if she's there. I didn't even get her name, yet I know exactly what she looks like. Be careful of the staff you pick to work there because not everyone is customer friendly.

Update 7/22/22: They still have karaoke on Thursday nights. If you go look for Sonya and/or Anna they're one of the best bartenders there. They finally did a little remodeling. They got some new chairs; made a long bench seating area near the front door; new dance floor; and they put up some mirrors and some new coats of paint to add some bling to the decor. They still have a ways to go in their remodeling efforts like fixing: the bathrooms; tile flooring throughout the club; the DJ booth looks like an electrical fire could happen; cracks and holes in the ceiling panels; I heard the cameras don't work inside and outside; they need better trained security guards who have their guard cards and pay them accordingly not small change; they need to fix the bar counter; and fix somethings behind the bar that look broken or on the brink of breaking; dust the fans before customers get there so when they come on people aren't sneezing and coughing from dust. Lastly, and most importantly make sure the staff as a whole (owners included) stop discriminating against a certain group of people. You want their money and business, so do right by them or I'm sure they can and will find another mom and pop dive bar elsewhere to take their business to. Just be more mindful of how your staff as whole treats others including each other. I can tell when the some of the staff isn't getting along it shows, so just try to do better and treat others how you want to be treated. Please and thank you go along...

the bartender at this Club will rip you off in prices for alcoholic beverages! I was over charged!!! When I called to speak to the owner, the bartender said "She is not here and I don't know when she comes!" Imagine that!!! This girl must be making a killing in tips, by over charging the customers! I will file and report and have this place investigated...see if they can locate the manager, since the bartender was so evasive! Who works in an establishment and "never know when the owner comes in?" I believe she knows about her wrong doings and doesn't want the owner to know about it! My first and last time a this night club! I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, hopefully the bartender will be fired for her...

Place is not recommendable. Not at all. This place is wack. The servers are old as he'll not only rude but ugly with nasty attitude. They charges to much on drinks, and it's so nasty, plus when you use your credit card they charges $2 additional even though you have open tab and orders a lot of drinks. They don't refund your door charges for very poor customer service. They tell customer it's your lost. The manager don't accomdate the customer at all.
