My buddies and I were originally going to check out a taco shop in the mall, only to find that it had closed at 6! So we ended up going to Panda Express instead. Some student athlete and his dad were very rudely and selfishly taking up the only group table in the place, so we had to take the loose chair at the handicap table. I was the first to order. They were out of orange chicken and black pepper chicken, but they were making it fresh, so I didn't mind. The cashier - Marysol, I believe - very generously offered me a free large soda on the house because of my wait! Most of us didn't get fortune cookies, but I don't like those, anyway. My friends ordered after me and a lot of them also ordered orange chicken, but because they ordered before it was done being cooked, they also had to wait. They didn't receive a free drink, though. One of them got a 10% discount off his order. Anyway, I love this particular Panda Express location because their food is always cooked properly and tastes fresh. The reason for the low review is for the very low quality service we received. the employees and I am assuming the manager (Alfonso), due to the fact that he was the only one wearing a different attire, seemed absolutely clueless about their food that they sell. We ask them if they had an allergen menu/list and were told that they don't have a calorie menu. We said no we have a dairy allergy in which he responded that they don't have a gluten-free menu. We had to look online to get the information we needed. I later asked for some hot water to warm up a baby bottle in which he told me that they don't have hot water here. I had to explain to him that it's not for drinking it's just to warm a baby bottle which he replied well we only have water...
Read moreFirst time here and honestly will not come again. I arrived at 9:26 pm and they did not have any items available not even the basic fried rice. The lady that attended me honestly only wanted me to go and not take anything since they close at 10 pm. It felt like she had a sense of urgency to hurry and close. The manager or team leader was there and was overhearing everything and didn’t turn a blind eye. I was always taught “lead by example” but that doesn’t apply here. Poor customer service and to top it off the lady that was at the register supposedly didn’t speak Spanish (my main language) the spoke to her coworker right after in Spanish really?
