When I first saw this being built, I thought man that looks like a bad location. It’s hard to access and when you leave you have to loop back around to a difficult and busy turn without a light (unless you are getting on the highway). That proved correct. So feeling bad for them knowing they are probably having a hard time getting business, I thought to myself let’s give it a try.
When I pulled up there was only one other car in line who had just finished ordering and was pulling around to the window. I take a minute to order, then order something pretty simple: regular iced coffee with milk and caramel syrup. I pull around and the other car is still there and they appear to be having trouble scanning the app on the customers phone. I wait a couple minutes, they finally get it sorted out and hand the other customer their one drink.
I pull up, I see there are four people working inside. I pay, and they say okay it’ll be just a minute. That surprised me as I had ordered a pretty basic drink, there were four people working, and they seemingly had time to make mine while they figured out the customer in front of me. It then proceeds to take about three minutes to get me the drink. While I wait, the employee closest to me was on their phone the whole time, and another employee just sat on the ground inside the whole time lol. Finally they come to bring me the drink and you can tell all the caramel is just sitting at the bottom of the cup and wasn’t mixed in. In fairness, the guy was cool about fixing that and did it quick.
If you’re going to have a hilariously horrible location (like fire the location scout bad), at least have good service. That was comical.
Two stars though because the iced coffee was...
Read moreYall gave me a coldbrew that was more than 1/4 sweet foam and seems to have had more sweet foam mixed in the coldbrew as well. I say this because the color of my cold brew is way too light for it to have almost no flavor that can be tasted. Also I worked at a biggby in the past; a 24oz should be getting something like 4/5 pumps of syrup, from memory, which makes it super sweet by default. Both cold brews I ordered did not have remotely enough syrup/sauce judging by flavor. If i had to guess, each coldbrew had the equivalent of 2.5 pumps. This makes me think they made the first coldbrew a size too small then just dumped it in a larger cup and added more sweet foam to cover the size difference. My other drink was also the incorrect size but it was larger than ordered (but with an appropriate amount of sweet foam) I would have said something had I noticed at the window but unfortunately I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t see just how much sweet foam there was until I had already left. I have taken 2 sips and they were almost entirely sweet foam… This biggby location is usually solid and does a great job of quality controlling their drinks/food with most mistakes being negligible, but this was...
Read moreThis location needs to get their drive thru notification fixed or their workers need to get off their phone and look out the window. Without fail every single time I come to this location I pull up to the drive through and wait for them to notice, one of the other cars lined up behind me to honk or until I drive up to the window and order there. On one occasion I was told their drive thru sensor wasn’t working, you’d think months later they’d have it fixed. I’ve never had this issue with their Wooster pike or RedBank locations. Had it happen today and just left, was over it...
