Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Cincinnati

Keep in mind this is a chicken salad specialty restaurant, so don't come here expecting much else. (Egg salad, pimento cheese, soups, and a kids menu are the exceptions.) Prices are reasonable. Food is fresh and delicious. Meals generally include a side dish and a cookie. Your choice of having the chicken salad on fresh bread, a croissant, or as just a scoop on lettuce. (The bread/croissant are very filling.) There are 12 varieties of chicken salad. Haven't yet tried them all, but the 5 I've had are very tasty. One of my companions raves about how good the egg salad is. As for sides, the broccoli salad is unique and flavorful. The fresh fruit always manages to contain blueberries and strawberries, even when not in season. The green grape salad is like having dessert - I recommend trying it at least once. Staff at this store is top notch. Raquel went out of her way to assist one of my companions to ensure an excellent experience. Tried to be graceful, with giving 2 stars, but after realizing just how bad it was, and the fact that my money went to waste, I realized it wasn't even worth that many. Food was not all that and way over priced. I couldn't even eat the croissant sandwich from there. It went to the dog. How can you mess up a friggin sandwich? lol. Their meat tasted processed and slimy, and their pesto mayo made the sandwich soggy, and wasn't good at all. Overall, the sandwich was bland and soggy. Their pasta salad wasn't all that either. Noodles where very chewy, and didn't taste good. Also bought their chicken salad with walnut and grapes, hoping it would be at least a little better, but nope... it also was also not all that, not much flavor, and had like one or two grapes in it. I couldn't believe how busy they were with such low quality food, and it took so long for our food to come out. I guess everyone wanted to check out the new place in the plaza like we did. I went here for lunch with another person. When the food was served we immediately noticed that the sandwiches were burnt looking. We weren't going to say anything until we also figured out that the sandwiches were paired with the wrong sides after one of us took a bite. We asked for both to be remade due to us getting the wrong sandwiches and the fact that they were burnt. They agreed to remake the sandwich that was bit out of but told us that they weren't burnt, "it's just the way they're made." It wasn't my first trip, so I know better. When the remade sandwich finally came out, it wasn't even the correct sandwich. They made it with a completely different chicken salad. Considering the rudeness of the staff, I just decided to reach out to corporate about the situation. They did offer to give me a credit on my rewards account but I didn't have one.
