I agree with Susan and Jenna. I went into here for a veggie bowl, and I order that mostly for the guacamole. They were out of it !!! (And the fajita veggies, too, I might add) They’re famous for it ! There were NO apologies. :( There was no sign on the door, nor did the first person at the top of the line say “we’re out of guac “… Would have saved me the trouble. I would have turned around. I’m sure it’s the same attitude as the previous reviews where they were out of steak and refused to make more. Lazy.
What worse : The manager happened to be on the line making part of my bowl. He was rude stared down at my rice and beans and said, so “that’s all you like in it ? “ (referring to the guac) I should have just left. . The Oakley neighborhood had high hopes of a brand new built restaurant would change things but it didn’t. It’s just as bad as Paxton Rd. $8 I can’t get back. The food was just okay at best with no guac. I was just terribly hungry. Had to eat.
SAD. CHIPOTLE WAS SO GREAT IN ITS PRIME. GREAT PORTIONS -GREAT SERVICE. It has gone so down hill I kept giving it a chance here and there and had the same disappointment No more.
**update…9/2/23 …no one reached out for any kind of response — that shows even more about the customer service. I see that they’re open to 11:00 pm now. 🤦🏻♀️ God help people who go later because if they’re out of meat and guac at 8:00, imagine...
Read moreIt's ironic that google asked me to share about my experience, because it was probably one of the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. They were doing everything online (which is very inconvenient once you're at the restaurant).I ordered and they said it would be a little longer so I left for awhile. When I got back they still haven't completed my order and it was already 25 minutes late. Apparently this was the case for the 15 people also waiting. I left and came back 20 minutes later, and it still wasn't ready. There was literally no one to give me an update and it was so frustrating, because I thought a quick fast food trip would only take a few minutes and it turned into an 1:30 minute process. If I knew that going in I would have never ordered. I've honestly noticed this decline with most Chipotle stores. I find this to be very sad because I use to be a huge advocate and lover of Chipotle. At this point, I'm not even interested in eating here anymore. The experience is typically very long and orders seem to be extremely sloppy when it is not done in from of the customer. In addition, I tried there brisket that was more expensive. Very disappointing. It was completely burnt and seemed to be a significantly smaller portion. In general, avoid Chipotle and especially this one...
Read moreI went into chipotle around 3pm 5/31/25. I first would like to say the store is nice and brand new. When I first walked up to the counter there were 2 people that I could remember. There was a young black gentleman with tattoos, and a nice white lady at the check out. As I approached they were stalking, and someone said “we will be with you in one moment” . I then preceded to say “take your time”. While leaning on the wall looking at the menu the black gentleman then says “excuse me” in a rude tone and waved his hands . I then walked up to the counter, orders my food, and left the store. The black gentleman the entire time kept giving me dirty/ cold looks and I really don’t appreciate it. When got home to open my bag I noticed my queso was at the bottom opened. THEN, the kids meal cheese was like that. All the chicken was burnt so bad I couldn’t even bite/ eat it. I am a college student just trying to shop at the hyde park Kroger, and then get lunch at chipotle before returning to UC. The experience that I received today was very disappointing coming from Hyde park. On top of that the lady never gave me a receipt. My juice box was covered in queso before I washed it off. I tried to call the store, but it said “all staff are busy and cannot...
