Loved coming back today for breakfast - Super friendly staff with Felicia & Amy serving up fresh hot coffee with a smile, Daryll the Duke of delicious Omelette’s and James working the dining area. Great food and comfort here. They have ALL the ingredients for a great start to your day no doubt!! ——————— Ingredients is inside the Westin Hotel. It’s basically a “grab n go” with fresh Starbucks coffee drinks, bagels and rolls. They do have made to order omelette’s and panini’s. In the cold case they have ready made sandwiches, fresh fruit cups and variety yogurts. Daryll was so friendly and made me a really good 3 egg omelette with fresh spinach and mushrooms. Hard working staff, omelets made to order including egg white ones, you add 4 ingredients plus 1 meat (veggie burger, turkey bacon, bacon, sausage) for $15.99 which comes with 2 slices of toast and hash browns. Some meat like bacon is baked in the brick oven so it’s a nice added touch. Kind of pricey but the omelet was good and plenty to eat. The place is kept clean with someone always going around cleaning tables and clearing them. They have all kinds of drinks including Starbucks coffee. The view is beautiful right inside the Westin hotel ground floor lobby ish but it’s kind of chilly. I wish it were a bit warmer to enjoy my hot food bc it got cold fast. Other than the prices (to be expected inside a hotel) and the chilly atmosphere, it’s a great place and space and lots of space. And...

It has not been my month for dealing with bad handling of my debit card. Last week I ate at Ingredients and the food is okay, and not unreasonable in terms of cost for downtown Cincinnati.

The clerk at the time approached me, almost after my transaction with another clerk and said that she had made an error and needed my card to correct it.

My bank shows her correction rather clearly. My charge was 8.16. She charged me 88.16 AND THEN changed me another 8.16 when she grabbed my card back. I have an odd feeling they had to have noticed an overage of that much in her drawer at the end of her shift. Did they dig through and fix it? Nope., they just decided to keep my 88.16.

If you cannot trust a place to fairly charge you, you cannot trust them...
