I have never been so disrespected.
After I (calmly) explained my order was incorrect, I was told by Anna the manager, "That's not my problem." Her demeanor was childish and defensively sarcastic.
After I replied "Yes" to her asking me "Do you want all that other stuff on it like whip cream and stuff too?" She sighed very loudly and exclaimed "UGGGHHH I am just so over this day!" Can you imagine being so rude to a customer? I cannot, and I am a server in Kenwood. I was flabbergasted when I went to leave and after screaming "HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!" at me, with no reply, she said "OR DON'T!!!!" To my back. I turned on my heel and calmly told her I could hear her and she was being rude. She did not apologize and doubled down on her rudeness and said "Oh so you wanna speak to the manager?" I said yes, and she sarcastically said "Well I am the manager what can I do for you today ma'am?" Points for humor, but I wasn't in the mood right then.
So Anna the manager, if you're reading this, I hope you learned from this. Never returning to...
Read moreI just moved to Hyde Park from Mariemont where the closest Starbucks to me was exceptional. I wish I could say the same for my new closest store.
I order ahead online just about every other morning and almost every time I show up, my order is wrong. Specifically, I ask for no foam and well...foam. What is the point of ordering ahead if you have to wait for your order to be remade?
Also, when I saw my order was wrong once again, I told the person working that this happens nearly every time. She didn't apologize at all but just smiled at me, dumped out the wrong order, and started making it again. If you are going to fail to do your ONE JOB that is to READ the order, at least apologize.
This was a blatant display of laziness, apathy, a don't-care attitude, and ineptitude in general.
Good luck guys, there's a billion other stores out there so I'll be finding a...
Read moreThey've renovated this place so many times over the years but I think the more recent one is worse than the last. There used to be a long table (could seat maybe 10-12 people) with outlets going around so anyone could charge up while they worked. With the newer renovation, it seems they got rid of the outlet table and replaced it with another table of the same size but without the ports. It doesn't make sense to me why they'd remove it. This is a small location with hardly any wall outlets. Because of the lack of size and utility, I now prefer to go to any other coffee shop in town.
No complaints about the drinks and baristas here. There has been one particular barista I've recognized over the years and she has always been very kind and helpful with recommendations. I wish I knew her name. She has dark, curly hair and...
