I have to say, it's a disappointment.
I am by no means a connoisseur of Chinese cuisine, assuming I'm not a chef myself nor have I been to China, but compared to (literally) every other Chinese restaurant in the Rochester area it's not impressive.
Before I start, I found that the price of most of the items are about $1.50 higher than most other Chinese restaurant rates.
The dishes I ordered (for 3 people in total) were the crab rangoon, wonton soup, sesame chicken combo, sweet and sour chicken combo, Singapore special chow mei fun, and the house special lo mein. I did not personally have the lo mein but I was told it was bland. Starting with the crab rangoon, they were completely filled with cream cheese and small "crumbs" of crab, essentially none whatsoever. The wonton soup broth is decent but the wontons were wrapped a bit too thick (doughy) with not a lot of meat in them. The sesame chicken was fried for a little too long so they became a little chewy, and the container was not filled to the brim like all other restaurants seem to package the combo meals, and tasted a bit like chicken wings. I couldn't complain about the sweet and sour chicken, but the sauce was watery and tasted like sweet ketchup. The pork fried rice for both combo meals also did not have any other vegetables in it like many other restaurants (carrots and peas) but that didn't bother me.
I had no problems with the Singapore noodles and I thought they were good, but 1 out of 6 doesn't make up for everything else we...
Read moreThis has been our "go to" place for the last few years however I think they've bitten off more than they can chew. I placed an order at 5:20 last night and was told 45 minutes. I work about an hour from here/home. So I placed the order before I left work. I pull up an hour later walk in to pay and after he hands me my receipt he says " it's still cooking" no time frame so thinking it's almost done I figure I'll hang out a bit. An hour later my food was done! 7:15 I walked out of there... don't get me wrong the food is great! But after already working a 12 hour day an hour away I don't want to spend another hour waiting for food when I was told 45 minutes. I know they signed up with doordash and grubhub which I think may be too much for them. If they're going to cater to the apps first instead of direct call ins then I'll definitely be going elsewhere. Waiting two hours for a two meal order...
Read moreFROZEN FOOD AT BEST I didn't think this place could get worse and against my better judgment after a year or two I decided to give this place another shot I ordered lemon chicken which was 14.99 and all I got was sweet and sour chicken but instead of sweet and sour sauce I got lemon sauce I don't know what part of China these people come from but lemon chicken it's supposed to have the lemon sauce poured over top at the very end basically this business just gets a big box a Frozen battered chicken and then any kind of chicken you get they just put the sauce on the side I literally could have got sweet and sour chicken at half the price for some reason the lemon chicken is in special Cantonese session this place is hands down the most generic frozen food serving Chinese restaurant I've...
