do not come here unless you want inattentive service and rotten food. my boyfriend and i have been several times in the past two years and we always order the same five-six rolls a piece. i have always enjoyed their spider roll. until tonight. i was working my way from roll to roll when i ate a piece of my Spider roll. Immediately I was able to tell that the crab inside was spoiled. this ruined the entire meal for me, within minutes i had felt extremely nauseous. in this time our server nor anyone else acknowledged us as we searched for someone to tell. fifteen minutes later a waitress that we had not been served by came to ask if we needed boxes, no one once asked us how our meal was. i said “no thank you, but um my spider roll is bad” and she said “oh boy, you didn’t enjoy?” and i said “no ma’am, it’s spoiled it’s rotten i’ve had this roll before” she apologized and said she would go and talk to her boss. several minutes later a man came out to us and said “so you don’t enjoy the spider roll” and i said “no, i always have the spider roll. this crab is no longer good, it is spoiled” and he said “well i checked with the chef and it’s not fresh fresh, it is frozen perhaps that’s your issue” and i said “no i have had the spider roll here before, this crab is spoiled” and he goes “you may think so but i checked the dates and everything was fine” and said “maybe next time try something else” before walking away. it was clear he did not care about our business or experience or the fact that he has served us rotten food. the waitress that we had spoken too apologized for needing to get him involved and for how difficult he is. i told her that she has no reason to apologize to us and she made sure he comped at least the one roll. i was beyond upset by how he had spoken to me and that the waitress had to fight him for comp the spoiled roll. Our original waiter was too busy with a large party to help us or speak to us at all until he brought us the bill. the waitress that helped us apologized again. i let her know that our experience was not her fault and that i appreciated her but we would most definitely not be back. we paid $93 only for me to get sick not even five minutes into our drive home. terrible customer service and spoiled food? will never be back. worst part of the experience has to be the...

We had 11 people on a Monday night and we were able to have 5 checks to cover all involved ..that was HUGE if you consider how every restaurant I've EVER been to insists on one check if the group is 8 or more. Then, we had our grandson celebrating his 21st birthday..time for some sake! After checking his id, all was good. And for those not imbibing, they had water to mimic the sake drink demo. They also provided a birthday crown and cupcake with a candle at the end to finish off their part in the celebration (they didn't know the reason for our visit so kudos to them for spontaneously helping out). Everyone got to choose their meal, and while most chose the hibachi, no one was left out of the fun. What a demonstration of knife skills to name just one feat we enjoyed. And then, the food tasted fantastic! We got to eat in peace..no rushing us out! What a pleasure to feel welcomed to take our time. Japanese culture and food choices were evident, but there were other choices for those less adventurous souls. What a good evening we all had! Will definitely be back...

Ichiro Japanese Restaurant is a really nice restaurant that serves hibachi, sushi, Bento boxes, and a wide variety of other Japanese dishes that people love to eat and enjoy. Their drink of choice to serve it's diners is Pepsi products with choices like Mtn Dew, Pepsi, Root Beer, and a few others that I can't quite remember because who cares. The staff here are great and very polite and courteous. They are always attentive to their diners as they eat and make your visit a better experience. The food tastes so good you'll have to slow down and be careful not to inhale it accidentally 😉 Savor the flavor and slow down and enjoy your meal and the company you're with. The restaurant is very clean and remained clean throughout our visit. The prices are good and won't hurt your wallet or purse too much. Overall I'll give Ichiro a 4.5 star...
