Salinger's — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Salinger's is your typical college aged bar with a very friendly staff. It offers a fairly large space with two adjoining rooms to sit and drink, play bar games and a small area to watch sports. It has an patio for smoking located right off to the side of the entryway. It's music is usually played by jukebox but be aware on a busy night staff have the ability to switch ur music choice even if you'd paid for the next spot. In other words your better off asking for it then wasting your money. All in all its in a great location with several other options in walking distance. Enjoy...

The bouncer Henry has consistently harassed me any time I come into the establishment no matter what I do. Henry makes me extremely uncomfortable and makes me never want to come back again because he has horrible hospitality. I understand doing your job, but consistently singling me out is unacceptable as I work in the service industry. I would never want one of my patrons to feel the way I do as I walk up to the bar and see him in the window. Bartenders are amazing, but I am not going to come back again after being harassed time...

I love this place! It's a dive bar with friendly staff, decently priced drinks. They have a small outdoor patio that's fenced in so can drink outside I'd you'd like. They also offer free popcorn and peanuts. They also have skeeball, pinball, basketball, and other arcade games that are only 50 cents per play. I played steel tip darts, which is free, all night long on a slow night.

Minus one star because they don't have a kitchen, but the bartender did allow us to order from GrubHub and get food...
