BurgerFi — Restaurant in City of Saratoga Springs

Easily our family's favorite burger joint! For a few more dollars and a couple more minutes than the Golden arches, BurgerFi's friendly staff will hook you up with some incredibly fresh and delicious food. Plus, they serve beer and wine - can't get that at the usual fast food chains!

You can't miss the quality of the ingredients, just super and fresh. It's even better knowing that the meat is grown without antibiotics, growth hormones, or GMOs. Their burgers are fantastic, the veggie burger is also great. The fries are outstanding country style - thick cut with some peel, always taste fresh... far better than the Golden Arches fries. They also have excellent, enormous, thick sweet onion rings. I often go for the Beyond Burger. That's an advanced veggie burger that you can easily mistake for beef. Good to eat lower on the food chain, and probably better for me too.

Family friendly, kids eat free on Wednesdays with adult meal. Kids can get a smaller kids meal, their burger the way they like it + fries or applesauce + fountain drink or juice. Mine like kids cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce and tomato.

Beer and wine and hard cider are a good deal during happy hour, including national brands and some great local lines.

Deserts are just frozen stuff, which is ok in summer but in upstate NY it's way too cold most of the year. Fortunately, Kilwins chocolate shop is just a couple doors down... if you ever have room after your BurgerFi meal!

TVs show games, news, and other programs. Good music. Nice atmosphere for a fast food place. Large and small tables, booths, and high bar-style tables accommodate different size parties. In summer, some sidewalk outdoor seating and open storefront. Water bowls for dogs (and local ducks!) in summer.

Bathrooms are clean, accessible. Two unisex large accessible bathrooms work for everyone, from parents with a few small kids, to patrons with mobility issues, and everyone else too. For wheelchairs, roll-in entrance requires a turn, but entry is flat to very slight grade-- easily doable.

You can order takeout or delivery, too.

No dedicated parking. Parking is on-street, or you can use the nearby parking areas...

Had to order twice, but, it was worth it.

Put an order in online well ahead of time for pickup later that day, but unbeknownst to me, even though I received a confirmation email and was charged, my order failed to transmit later in the day. A secondary email was received, but I don't check my email constantly throughout the day so I didn't know this until I arrived.

When I did, the staff was genuinely confused what happed to my order, and was trying their best to fix it. When I showed them the confirmation information that was when I stumbled across the email alerting me to the failure, but luckily they were good sports about ti and let me reorder straight away.

Went with a customized Beyond Burger and an order of the Cry + Fry Urban Style, I took a seat and within 5 to 7 minutes my order was up. Very snappy given my burger was quite the tall task, with two beyond patties, and a bunch of swaps between sauces, cheese, and other toppings.

I have quite the drive home, around 45 minutes, but amazingly the burger was still nice and warm thanks to the insulated bag it is packaged in. The Cry + Fry didn't fair as well, but I was snacking on those the entire drive so all is forgiven.

After digging into everything for real I was almost worried they messed up and used real meat patties, until I recognized the more grainy texture of the beyond patties. Still crazy how close they nailed the flavor of real meat, and my creation feels like it should be a menu standard with how well it all came together. The urban style Cry + Fry was also good, even better with the dipping sauce, but they were on the cool side by the time I was able to try the two together.

Overall given the failure of the online system, but then the real concern the staff showed me, and the delicious burger, I have to award full points. Even better the total, with all my extras I added and tip, was only a bit over $30....

I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely the worst service ever. I ordered a burger and fries online where I picked the items I did and didn’t want on my burger I am paying for. They got the order completely wrong and I didn’t realize until I got back to work. I called to ask them to make it correctly and I will come get it. They told me no they made it how it came through to them. So I went back down there because there is no way I’m spending $25 on a burger and fry they messed up. If it was just an extra topping I would’ve took it off and lived on but they slathered it in a sauce I didn’t lot ask for. I pulled up my email confirmation to show them my order that there company sent me a confirmation of and refused to even look. I’m trying to show another worker and they turn away as to obey the manager of no one will fix it. He told me no he will not remake it since he did it according to how he got the order. I wonder black women I can not remember her name looked at my receipt and fixed my order and apologized. As she was doing so the manager is in the back talking out loud about how he’s not fixing and how no one will and just being completely unprofessional. This is a garbage establishment and I hope that wonderful women who did her job and took the time to acknowledge my concerns. Will never go back and have not been back. If anyone asks me about the location I direct them to the Latham location of five guys since they have better service and can read and complete orders as requested. It really does suck because I did come here at the least once a week if not more. You can’t charge this much and have garbage humans...
