Pizza Hut — Restaurant in City of Saratoga Springs

I'm not sure what's going on with this location but they seriously need help.

Last year we went and it was bad. There was only 1 server and the line was backed up for seating and take out orders.

This time was no different. There were 3 tables already seated and halfway done and we arrived there around 3-4 pm. There was one couple ahead of us so we got in line. An older couple came in shortly after us and it took about 5 minutes before anyone said anything to us all. No greeting nothing to acknowledge that we were there. The server didn't know who was first 2nd or 3rd to seat. She was visibly frazzled. She took the 2 other tables that sat when we did drink orders before coming to our table. Granted she was very nice and pleasant but she definitely needs help.

Now let's get to the FOOD OMG how nasty. We ordered the big box which came with 2 medium Pizzas, bread sticks, boneless wings. We ordered traditional wings as well because some people like bone(less). I ordered mild boneless and they were just nasty. I brought them home and my pitbull won't eat them either so I threw them out this morning. The traditional wings my cousin and sister ate but they said they didn't taste right either but my cousin was so hungry she ate them and today she's sick. We each went to the Salad bar which had wilted lettuce and some items we depleted. Potato salad was good though. And what happened to the boiled eggs? They're not on there.

The PIZZA which normally to my opinion is the best pizza was so doughy. Normally there's a nice crisp on the bottom but nope. I must say, they tried to make a chicken bacon ranch tho using Alfredo sauce because they didn't have ranch for pizza. The chicken was unflavored and I dipped it in ranch dressing from the wings and it was actually good if only it wasn't for the fact that it was doughy. We have 2 half pizzas sitting in our kitchen that no one wants..not even my dog who LOVES pizza pizza as I call it for him.

Towards the middle of our dining another server became our server and we had to ASK at the counter for to go boxes thinking Millz (my dog) would eat it.

We get pizza hut every few months near the house depending on our budget etc and this store is the WORST. I appreciate this store being open for sit down and the salad buffet. We just happened to be in Saratoga yesterday and decided to go.

I truly hope some changes are made with the food and more help us hired or scheduled.

It's as if the owner/manager doesn't care about...

The food was "Pizza hut good" the ordering was so easy. The price was extremely fair. I went to pick it up and the girl was more worried about "clocking in" And then standing there then she was helping anyone. I walked up and say "Hello, I'm here for a pick up for ......" her exact response was "Yup, gimme a minute" Proceeded to do what ever it was she was doing and then drink her green smoothie. I sat there and finally went out to my car to shut if off and grab my phone. Came back in. Sat there. I tried to make small talk about the weather and her exact response was "yup" Like, wait, what? It wasn't a question. Either way. I stood there. Stood there. Finally the lovely man who's been there for as long as I lived in the area, or so it seems. 20 years? Came from around the corner to ask me if he could help me (all while there were 3 employees leaning on the counter ignoring myself and anyone else that walked in). He opened the food warming door and took my order out and gave it to me. I mean, how long did I have to actually sit there like an idiot all while my food was ready? As I was leaving a couple of ladies were commenting on the lack of attention they were getting waiting "to be seated" even though the place was empty. I know staffing is difficult these days but we are letting these horrible employees run the show while the hard working consistent faithful ones take on the weight. UPDATE NEW ORDER 7/16/22 The first bite of my pizza almost brought tears to my eyes because it was just what I've been craving all week. Hot, crisp, and with the right amount of ingredients to make it perfect! Thanks Pizza Hut 🥰

Always hot & fresh pizza. Consistent taste. Update: we recently ordered the pan pizza. Expected the crunchy, buttery, wonderful taste that is uniquely Pizza Hut's Original pan pizza, but after my first bite, I was extremely disappointed. It had a flat, dull crust that I could get in a frozen pizza. I mentioned to the guy who answered the phone when I called to question if they changed the recipe, that being originally from Brooklyn, I order Pizza Hut only for their Original pan pizza. Told me their thin crust is like NYC pizza 🤣😂🤣😂, maybe I should try this. No thanks, I'll go elsewhere. They should also have noted on their website menu that the Original Pan Pizza recipe has recently changed to a whole other taste. I would have called to question this and wouldn't have ordered their 'new' pizza. We also ordered sandwiches which come with fries...
