Not your average Chinese restaurant. You walk in the front door and are presented with a piece of plastic in the second doorway that prevents you from entering the restaurant, greeted with a sign that says to “ring bell for service” for then which you wait for someone to feel like getting up to take your order. When they finally come, take your order, charge an OUTRAGEOUS amount for your food ($6 undisclosed up charge for vegetable lo mien! Unheard of) they are less than pleasant with you..I spent $60 for lousy service and (3) sweet and sour chicken combos and the best part about the food was the red sauce. I've been eating Drunken noodle for over 8 years all over the place, so when I ordered Drunken noodle, I was very disappointed! What I was served was seafood delight with a heavy presence of fish sauce. I brought this to the attention of the staff. The response was this is our version of Drunken noodle. I pointed out the menus said it came with a basil sauce that was not on out. The response was customers don't like the flavor of basil. They would not add the basil to the dish. Ordered a large dinner order for a family of 18. We opened the chicken and broccoli to find a dead cockroach. Ending up throwing the whole order out When I called they tried justifying that the rest of the food was fine and that it wasn’t an issue. Disgraceful. They then offered to provide a full refund. When I called back to have them process, they told me that the prior person I was dealing with was no longer available and they would not honor the refund. Shameful all around.
