Soul Society Juice Bar + Cafe — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

If I could give zero stars I would. At first I was really excited about this place. They seemed to be very on top of it. I was in town on a work trip, and was already 2+ weeks into my juice fast. I had already continued on my fast with two other places, successfully, on my trip. To start, there was no one to let me in during business hours and I was outside in the freezing cold. Next. The juices were TERRIBLE. Someone either left them out, and they went bad, and then they gave them to me, or they were just terrible all together. Next, none of my juices were labeled or had any indication of what order they were supposed to be consumed in. Next, they had told me I would have delivery for day 2, that never happened so I ended up forfeiting the next batch of juice. I texted the manager about this, one because it RUINED my hard work of over 2 weeks into cleansing, but two because no one should have bad juice and then pay for it, she NEVER responded. I was hoping she would either refund me or at LEAST apologize. NOTHING. I will NEVER be ordering from this place again nor will I recommend it to anyone. If you want rotten juice, poor service, and a huge bill for something that isn’t consumable, this is your place. Otherwise,EVERY OTHER juice...

Stopped into Soul Society today to check it out. I am constantly on the search for healthier options in Syracuse! When we popped in I asked how long they had been open and to my surprise the answer was 2 years!!

I have searched for “juice bar” on google a few times and they never came up. Glad that the SEO is picking them up now.

We got a BUNCH of juices since they were doing a little sale to get rid of things before a private event.

Over all the juices were good- but nothing especially fantastic.

At the $13 price point I didn’t like that everything was not freshly prepped upon ordering.

We ordered a couple juices and were told to grab them from the fridge. I’m sure they batch make this in the AMs but there is no packaged date or time on the bottles.

I got the electric matcha which was fine but didn’t have any tea taste at all. That was freshly prepared though.

Over all I may be back in the future but at the price point I’m not sure. I own a juicer already and I think the real shining star of a juice bar is getting that juice and getting all the nutrients within the first several moments of juicing.

Had a really wonderful first experience at Soul Society and will certainly be back! I tried the black ruby juice and Cobb salad with chicken. Everything had so much flavor and was so tasty. The atmosphere there is amazing to walk into and as a first time customer I didn’t know exactly what to get. Everyone I talked with was awesome and helped me pick.
