Absolutely incredible Peruvian food, easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Westchester. I came during New York’s first 2025 heatwave and still chose to sit outside because the food was that good. I had their signature Pollo a la Brasa with a side of Chaufan (Peruvian-style fried rice) and Maduros (sweet plantains). The sauces were on point especially the salsa verde and their delicious yellow house sauce that took the chicken to the next level. I also tried the Lomo Saltado, and WOW. Perfectly seasoned beef with rice and fries, and I didn’t hold back on the salsa verde. Might be the best version I’ve ever tasted. The Papa Rellena (stuffed potato) was golden and crispy on the outside, packed with seasoned beef inside seriously flavorful. Washed it all down with a cold Inca Kola and ended with a refreshing passion fruit slushie that saved me from the heat. Great food, friendly service, and authentic Peruvian flavors that hit every mark. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for real, satisfying Peruvian cuisine in White Plains. I’ll definitely be back!

I’m quite disappointed in this business lately. When I first started going here, it was great. But the quality of the dishes has been decreasing since then. Often, they forget to put the sauces that go with the dish when I call for take out. When I eat my yuccitaa de huacania, I expect for it to also have the olive sauce that the description says it’s come with. This has happened multiple times. I’ve also noticed how for the jalea they barely serve lime juice with it. The lime juice really makes the dish. One little container barely covers the personal portion. I went yesterday again and I think will officially be my last time going. I wasted my money yesterday again on a jalea that barely had lime juice and the empanada de carne I got barely had filling. It had more onion then meat. It was half empty. I know meat is expensive right now but that’s not right. I want my money back for the empanada. I’m going to be looking for a new Peruvian spot to dine at instead.

The food was good not the best because I’ve had Peruvian food before and it was 6/10. You cannot really dine in, it’s only a small area inside and outside dining( I really don’t wanna sit outside where the flies are) I did however order a few things to try them out being that it’s my first time there, my order was over $130 And I feel like they could’ve thrown in a freebie. Wishful thinking I guess. Ok lets talk about the food, the ceviche it was good flavors , but I feel like it had too much beans, the chicken was good but a little too salty, the empanadas was awesome, but the fried chicken tenders was very hard to chew it was stiff. I got it with a fried egg, so that and the french fries and rice is what I can eat from that dish.

I live an hour away from this place and was in the area with my young kids after a long day. We needed to eat so I brought them here assuming the food would be good since I have had good Peruvian food before. The woman at the register suggested that I get the special for the day which was a lot of food but I needed to feed my two boys and figured I could bring the rest home for my family. I did not want the two liter soda that came with the meal and asked for water instead. She told me after I paid (and tipped) that I cannot substitute for water and offered no alternative. My kids started eating so I went to her again to ask if she could just give me a small water bottle in place of the 2liter soda which we do not drink and she was about to charge me for it. I asked why she couldn’t give me water and she said “idk my boss”. I asked if I came and sat to eat you wouldn’t give me a glass of water? and she said “no we don’t have water, only from the sink, I can give you that but from the sink is no good”. So I had to take my kids back to the car bc this woman could not understand that they already had my money. What type of restaurant cannot even provide a customer some water to drink when they order a huge meal, paid for an included beverage and tip? Is it me? I really just needed it for my kids to go with their meal. The food was mediocre, the chicken was over salted. The side of vegetables was a bag of steamed unseasoned frozen mixed vegetables you get at the supermarket and the yellow rice was extremely basic. The maduros were fried unevenly and looked like the person rushed cutting and cooking them. I am used to better quality food and general consideration and this was not for me. It was all very disappointing and I would never return...

Extremely disappointed! I'd like to add this is not my first time ordering from this restaurant! The first order I ordered a substantial order and the portions were huge the food was cooked wonderfully. Something went wrong with the cook this time! I ordered side dishes things that are very common in Latin cuisine and very dificult to get wrong! The sweet plantains were under cooked and hard in the center🤢. The yuca was disgusting! Not only did they take one order and split it in two. I know because I ordered this dish before as it was a full serving and perfectly cooked! I guess once you go back for a second time they don't care how they cooked your food. Furthermore when I called the restaurant to tell them that I received 1/2 an order. I was told that the restaurant was not responsible for thier food🤯. I was instructed to contact Uber because they gave me the correct order. So basically they are accusing Uber eats of eating half the order! Thr containers were not tampered wotha nd the bags erre tied. Do better the driver fod not eat the food! What a disgrace! I have never patronized a restaurant that serves 1/2 an order for full price and acuses Uber of eating it. Be careful they may sell you old undercooked food that is half eaten by a mystery person. They lost a customer I don't like underhanded scams . Yuca is not expensive they should be ashamed of...

The first time I tried their chaufa de pollo/chicken fried rice was very good with extra ginger! The second time I ordered it was a shrimp fried rice it’s not as good. I think it depends on whoever the chef is. For $17 shrimp they give you about 6 pieces which is ridiculously skimpy.

I’ve been to various Peruvian restaurants from different boroughs and I ALWAYS count the shrimp they put. Acuario in Port Chester, El Miski in White Plains, La Tia Del in New Jersey, and Bambu in Port Chester by far has good amount of shrimp about 15-20 pcs no exaggeration. I love Peruvian food and stuff and I like it the way I want it always extra ginger because I’m Asian ginger is a huge thing for me. I understand some of these restaurant don’t really use ginger but lately they have been using when you specifically ask for it.

Another thing that put me off is when I tried three times calling this place so I can order and just pick it up nobody is answering the phone. Luckily I got there and there’s a free parking spot. It’s usually difficult to find a spot but I got lucky. I ordered and this woman told me 15mins. I timed it of course. I left then came back 15mins later, had to wait another 5. Lol I’m sorry but that’s how I am when you tell me a time I expect that...
