God awful customer service. I came in for a falafel pita and asked if they could replace the hummus, as I’m not a fan of hummus, with babaganoush, which they also have. I was told “no” by the woman at the counter after she checked with the woman prepping the food. When I stated that I would pay for a side of babaganoush along with the sandwich, and asked that they just please substitute the babaganoush for the hummus, I was again told “no” by both women. When I asked for an explanation, they refused to provide one (or did not have one, and they just didn’t want to assist with my small request). When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told to stop yelling. I was not yelling. The employees here do not appreciate 1) that the customer is always right (within reason) and 2) that food is personal to people, and making small modifications to people’s tastes and preferences go a long way. These employees were obstinate, difficult, condescending, and patronizing. I will never visit here again and DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone pays for food here.

UPDATE: Returned. Had no issue ordering with slight modifications (I believe it was one of the same staff members as the previous visit, and she was helpful and easygoing). The food is unbelievably delicious. Pita soft as a pillow. The best falafel you can get outside of Israel. Sauces are spot on. My fiancé wants to reorder for dinner...

If you're craving authentic Mediterranean flavors in White Plains, look no further than Falafel Place! My recent lunch experience here was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a delightful meal.

First off, let's talk about the falafel—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a true taste of tradition and craftsmanship. Alongside the falafel, I indulged in their hummus, which was creamy, rich, and paired perfectly with their fresh pita bread.

But the star of the show was undoubtedly their signature dish, the Eggplant Shakshuka. This unique twist on a classic was an explosion of flavors, with sautéed tomatoes, green and red peppers, and perfectly roasted eggplant, all topped with poached eggs. It was a culinary masterpiece that left me craving more.

What's more, the staff at Falafel Place were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. Whether you're a falafel fanatic or just looking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend paying a visit to Falafel Place in White Plains. You won't be...

Had to add to prior reviews. Enjoyed the falafel plate and eggplant sandwich today. Beyond delicious! The eggplant filling was perfectly seasoned. The humus continues to be dreamy creamy. And falafel are perfectly crispy and yummy on the interior. Don't know how they do it consistently, but YES.!

Just tried Falafel Place for the first time and WOW! Perfectly savory falafel, crispy outside and smooth, moist inside. The humus is a creamy cloud. Accompanying cabbage and tomato relish were perfect. And the eggplant shakshuka is not to be missed. I had some for dinner, and then reheated the other half for breakfast next morning... yummy both times. Their homemade pita is better than any other I've ever had: tender, yet chewy, and so delicious. I'm an avid falafel lover and Falafel Place is...

I’m a snob when it comes to falafel and I am delighted to report these are the best I’ve found in Westchester! Very similar to Taim’s in the city: very herby and perfectly fried. The hummus and shug were outstanding, the pickles were plentiful, the Jerusalem salad was super fresh, and the pita came warm and fresh. The falafel platter is a very filling lunch for $15.50, but I’d recommend the falafel salad to save a few bucks. It doesn’t come with pita or hummus, but it’s a similar portion (just with the majority of the dish made up of Jerusalem salad and chickpeas). I just had it for lunch and I haven’t felt this nourished in a long time. This spot may be 15 minutes from my home (and I drive past a lot of other falafel shops on the way), but I’m sure I’ll be going back many, many times. Delicious!

I don't know how it's possible but this place may have the best falafel I've ever had. Most of us got either the falafel platter or sandwich. The insides are so moist while outside is perfectly crisp. The crispy outside is very savory. The insides are very, very green. I'm sure there's better ways to describe it, but I think you'll know it if this is what you're looking for. The location itself is small, maybe room for 20 people. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. It's a casual dining experience, walk up and order and they'll bring it to your table. The staff is helpful and patient.
