Rocotos Deli & Café — Restaurant in City of White Plains

The food is very good, however I do NOT recommend using them for catering. They don't seem to be too familiar with how to calculate a head count. I had a party of 30 people. I spoke with them 4 times beforehand and even went there the day before picking up the food as I was nervous having never used them before. I also had a fluent Spanish speaking relative call to make sure they understood. Well, despite all my efforts they sent food enough for 15 people. When we got home with it and realized it wasn't enough, we immediately called back to order a duplicate to cover my 30 guests. They told us it would take 30 mins. So, my husband went back then and they said we never placed the 2nd order, so he had to sit there and wait. At this point 1/2 of our guests had been waiting an extra hour to eat.

La comida siempre ha sido buena en Rocotos y soy un cliente asiduo, pero el dia de hoy ordene una Patasca tal como figura en la aplicación or delivery. All recibir mi pedido me llego una sopa de fideos friaselos con huevo y gallina que YO NO PEDI. llame por telefono para indicarles que se habian confundido de pedido y la respuesta de la mujer al telefono fue increíble; me dijo que sabia que me envio la sopa incorrecta porque no tenia lo que pedi sin haberme consultado y temerariamente sin iimaginar que tengo ALERGIA AL HUEVO y NO COMO GALLINA, le indique esto y ella me dijo que si yo queria se la regrese pero que no me iba a devolver el dinero ni cancelarlo porque el delivery ya lo habia recogido. QUE FALTA DE RESPETO Y POCO CONOCIMIENTO EN RESOLUCION Y ATENCION AL CLIENTE!!!, tuvo el atrevimiento de decirme que si queria yo lo lleve y que ademas pida otra cosa y que YO lo recoja y si queria ahi me devolvia el dinero de la sopa y que ella no podia cancelar la orden asi que si no podia ir que yo comiera eso, le dije que ellos debieron llamar a preguntar y si no deseaba lo cancelara, pero la mujer insistia en que me coma algo que yo NO PUEDO POR TENER ALERGIA. Es terrible como esta mujer trato a un cliente que es constante yendo al restaurant, ordeno todo el tiempo y también voy en persona con toda mi familia y es la primera vez que me pasa algo asi. Las meseras peruanas son mas juiciosas y atentas pero esta Sra. que por su acento identifique que no era peruana desconoce totalmente como funciona el sistema en este pais, le dije que era ignorante en el tema y tuvo la desfachatez de decirme a mi que yo era la ignorante . Increíble y terrible el trato que recibi. Espere 50 minutos para que mi orden llegara, me mandaron otra cosa y encima fui pesisamente atendida por esta mujer al telefono, me colgo en tres oportunidades y se nego a cancelar la orden, tampoco quizo contactarme con la supervisora cuando se lo pedi. Rocoto is a small deli/restaurant which sells Peruvian food and goodies. The food is delicious. The place itself isn't pretty, but it's what the owner meant it to be - A Deli. A place where you order delicious Peruvian take out for breakfast lunch dinner and anytime cravings.
