I went to this McDonald's on Tuckahoe Rd. And ordered a usual brakfast I order. I ordered 2 Burritos( stated not the meal) and a small coffee(all coffees are $1) . The total was $6.09 USC and I knew it wasn't correct so I stated all coffees $1 and cashier stated yes. I then requested a receipt, meanwhile I'm the only customer waiting there at counter. The cashier then hands me a receipt for oatmeal and said "No this is not my receipt". Cashier replied "oh I threw away your receipt". I then requested my receipt againand she finally printed it up. When I received my items I went to my and looked at menu board it also stated $2.78 USC and all coffees $1. That is when I went inside and reported a $2 USC over charge and cashier replied "the Birritos are $2.78 each, so I replied ring up 2 Burritos and a small coffee. She rang it up and then the total was $4.12 after she charged me $6.09. I stated I would like a refund and she refused stating what other food do I want in its place. I said "No, I just want my money you overcharged me back". This is when female hispanic from Drive thru window walked saying she is the manager , what's the problem? Thats when the cashier lied again stating the burritos are $2.78 each. Both refusing to refund my hard earned money and the manager had a nasty attitude, I replied "I'll write everyone and tell them what transpired". After driving off because I felt I was robbed of my money, I called the Number on receipt and another manager answered named "Magali" as I had to repeat my situation again. Magali then still refused my refund and stated to call her Supervisor named Carlos. Informed Magali if I took $2.00 USC from any one of the two ladies , they would be calling the Police on me. I'm glad I walked out calmly but I will report this overcharging and lies to all channels and notify everyone in area with fliers if I need to. Bunch of thieves for $2.00 and cashier knew exactly what she was doing but everyone covering for each other instead of just refunding my hard earned money. Read moreOK. Time for a new review. I upgraded this store by two stars from my last review. The store closed for renovations in November of 2019 and reopened sometime in the spring of 2020. Everything is new and clean. They permanently eliminated the six tables and replaced them with a counter that has about five stools and one small table. It has two kios that are not available use right now due to covid. It's essentially for drive thru and take out since there are only five stools and one small table in the corner usually being occupied by staff on their break. The service seems to be a little better than before, particularly during the morning hours. Parking is still limited and at times it can be difficult to get into the parking lot.
