Taco Bell — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Where to start? Well, Taco Bell sure does have good food like always (Yes, I recommend the brand for kids & the elderly) but as for this location in particular? Maybe it's best if you look elsewhere, this is because the lines are extremely long on weekends & especially during free taco day every now & then during the year & maybe during happy hour (2-5pm daily). The problem is so bad during these times that the whole restaurant can be full to the max! This is especially a nuisance if you either drove, walked or biked your way there only to leave right away upon learning they're either full or the promo expired! The customer service is typical as in all fast food chains but could be better (if that's possible, at least it's better than sexist/racist Wendy's on central ave!).

I'm not sure if the McDonalds or Starbucks on Central Plaza fall into the same bin as that Wendy's since I don't go there but if anyone knows then let us know. I say that because Central Plaza's businesses are very discriminatory towards their staff & applicants! Best Buy & Burlington, I'm looking at you! So back to Central Ave's Taco Bell, the drink dispenser is questionable for it might need some scrubbing on the interior for the exterior is normally a mess. Now when it comes to the straws & lids, they moved the rack in recent times & they for some dumb reason, put the straws with the lids! So now they're in the same slots & they aren't as many straws as there are lids. Not that we should be using straws anyway for they pollute the oceans! The bathrooms are the 2nd biggest problem with this restaurant for they're only for single customers at a time (you guessed it, more lines!) & they look & smell so awful during dayshifts that it can make a hygienic person lose their lunch! Sometimes they even run out of soap regularly but that's more of an issue from the public rather than negligence. My biggest complaint with this restaurant is that they got rid of Pizza Hut in March 2016 which used to share the building with Taco Bell for many years!

The reason why was due to declining sales but I still would have preferred the option of dining from 1 or the other or both! It's not a total loss since the Pizza Hut at the Midway Shopping center in the next town over is still there but it's like an hour walking which can give your feet sores. As for Biking? Like 15 minutes but there's no separate bike path, so you need to use the sidewalk which isn't that safe since Central Ave is the busiest street in the county! The terrain doesn't help much either, so either drive or bus your way there if you're coming in far. The only reason why this gets 3 stars is because of their free refills policy! But if you walk out before getting it & come back in then you have to pay again even if you didn't leave the property as a whole. Just on a side note, if it's free taco day (2-6pm) then make sure that the cashiers dont do anything else during those 4 hours for every second counts!

Once, a lot of people after me got denied a free taco at this very location just because the clock struck exactly 6pm but the problem was that they only had 1 cashier that day & she left her post to take out the trash & reinsert the sauces in the stacks above the trash can 15 minutes before the clock struck 6 & she took 6 minutes to get back to the register! The manager sided with the cashier (cause she told her to go AWOL in the1st place) & thus half the line just jumped ship immediately after in frustration! In fact, someone had to inform an incoming motorist to leave the property despite just parking in the lot for this reason! So all in all, come to this spot at...

So, I went to the Taco Bell Drive thru. I purchased 25 dollars worth of food, which included 1 drink. My car cup holder is stuck and can't open it. I asked the worker if I could get a cup holder, and he replied "no you only have 1 drink We can't give you a cup holder for 1 drink" I explained to him that my car cup holder is stuck and I was by myself in the car I was going to make a mess I asked if they have a bag or something like the bags to carry drinks he came back with a regular paper bag.. Im like are you kidding me you can't give me a cup holder after I explained to you why I needed it WTH is going on with these fast food places and their costumer service I should have canceled my order and left, but Im not like that. I had to pull over and place my cup on the back seat holder so I was thirsty and couldn't drink and by the time I got home it was all watered down and I had to throw it out anyways WHAT A SHAME TACO BELL how much is a cup holder for you 1 cent??? I guess I'll find other places where to spend my hard earned money... And by the way I didn't even get a...

I'm crying writing this review right now, I believe there is no equality in this country after what occurred last night. I walk into TacoBell and noticed the manager and one of the employees commenting on my outfit this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave but unfortunately already placed my order. I was thirsty and went to the manager asking for a water cup where he then laughs and hands me a small styrofoam cup. I walk to the soda-machine thinking about my divorcing husband when I accidentally poured a cup full of "BajaBlast", the manager then yells "NOOO!!" and forced me to pour out my drink. He then shuts off the soda-machine yelling at the top of his lungs and forcefully hands me my order of one cheesy bean and rice burrito. At this point I'm already harassed and scared so I walk out, the manager then yells "yeah get out you homeless bum" I gasped, he says "we can take it outside" i run away crying. If i don't get justice, i will take this matter to facebook live!...
