Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Clarksville

Me and my partner went to go eat there tonight and when we got there, there were a few servers but most were kinda sitting around as it was kinda slow. The front person took us to a table that was dirty right off bat, then as the night went on we went ahead and ordered everything right off the bat. We wanted water with lemon both of us, i wanted a long island iced tea to start with the mozzarella sticks app to go with our 2 for 25. Which i got the mac and cheese and tenders and he got the one left next to it which was like a bourbon steak or whatever with mashed potatoes. Well i get my drink first then we get our waters. (Waiter was polite) Then we get our app. We finished that and i seen the 4$ free salsa and chips with a perfect margarita which i thought would be awesome with the food so next time she came around i was gonna order it. Welllll she never came back around untill our food came so i asked her then. And by that point, our waters had ran out and we hadnt had no refills, the entire time waiting for the food. We kept hearing voices and stuff about uow the servers days were and everything else, but still no server, she was also out of site. Once we got our food we started eating and were halfway through our dinner and still no water. And this time the person i went with had started on what i had left of my water. I went up the counter and i slammed my cup down and said i would like some more water please weve been waiting and i walked away. She said how she was waiting for my chips and salsa to get done and she was foing to bring it then but i told her she had PLENTY of opportunities to at least check on the drinks with how long everything was taking as i walked back to my seat. My server was heated, i was heated so i just asked for a new server and also that i was ready to go now. The bar server came over she alpogized multiple times and gave us a little bit of a refund but 10/10 never freaking going there again. It took wayyyyy too long just to fill up...

1st off let me say the 2 friends i came with said we have to make sure we dont get the waitress we had last time we were here which was about 3 weeks ago was so awful that they certainly didnt want to sit in her section because she was so rude and unbearable! Now these 2 ladies are the nicest people ever and the one friend has cancer and she doesnt.deserve this from anyone. If i had been with them then i would have ask for the manager and changed waitresses asap but they dont want to cause a problem! The Food was unacceptable at best! Had the Sampler platter and the chicken was so hard it was uneatable...the spinach dip was not good...ask for queso and it was also not good. I mean how hard is it to buy good queso? The juicy bourbon.cheeseburger I had was dry as a bone and hard. I ate 3 bites and just stopped. The A-1 sauce they brought out in alittle cup rather than the bottle and after tasting it I know why...it was so vinegary you couldn't eat it. The salsa was hot hot hot also not eatable. My 2 friends got the o so wonderful Bourbon steak and they both said it was ok but not what they got the 1st time. I had to send my mash potatoes back to be heated up because it was cold right off the bat. My burger didnt even melt the cheese at all!The waitress Terra was very good and had a very nice personality or attitude whatever and we had no problem with her at all. We will go back because the one loves French onion soup...which in my book isn't good either. The soup wasn't even hot enough to melt the big clumps of cheese and it was really dark...strong. as you can see how dry the burger was and burnt hard bacon. it is sad that things aren't better here because I love Applebee's. Where I used to go in Florida it was really good and a fun place. They don't have enough staff...

The disrespect of this place. No call ahead waiting. Drive 15 minutes to get placed on a list. 15-20 minutes. 25 minutes later I walk in to check how much longer and the host is no where to be found and servers are just clearing off tables to give to customers who had walked just walked in, ignoring the list completely. A table of 4 got sat, without any checking of a list or any regard to it, right in front of me. I had watched them walk in about 5 minutes prior. When the waitress got back she asked how many were in my party and I said I was waiting on my table still. Then the server has the nerve to ask me why I didnt speak up about me being ahead of them before she sat them. As if its my job to know the order of when customers come in and not screw the people on the waiting list. It was as if it was my fault she was doing her job wrong and ignoring the customers who had already been waiting. Spoke to a manager and she just gave excuses and tried to defend her staff "what if the customers had been called" as if I hadnt witnessed multiple groups walk in, get greeted by a waiter who asked if they had been helped *they hadnt yet but he was gonna clean a table to seat them (literally while I'm waiting for the manager, who then told me 2 more groups were still ahead of me on the list), the arrogance and lack of control. Tried to paint me like an idiot without taking responsibility for her crew disregarding training and procedure. This place will never see another dime from me and can't wait to tell everyone I know how terrible this place is. Happy new years indeed to...
