Butterfly Shrimp

I visited your store in Columbia Tn. this evening, (I think the store # is 3751). I ordered the one dozen butterfly shrimp with french fries and cole slaw. When I received my order, they were not butterfly shrimp. Not only that but I only received 10 shrimp. The shrimp were about 1" in height, 3/4" in width and no more then 1/4" in thickness. I thought about not complaining about it because I had a long day and no need to dump on the employees but the more I looked at my "Butterfly" shrimp, the more aggravated I became. I decided to speak to the manager. The young man came to my table and I explained my concerns to him. He told me that what I was eating was butterfly shrimp. I had to explain to him what butterfly shrimp are. I called his attention to the menu on the wall with the picture of butterfly shrimp. He said they had larger shrimp than what I was eating but that they were not butterflied. He said to call his area director (Andy Castle) and tell him my concern, which brings me to you. I own a business in Columbia. I realize that I am only one person. I also realize you may choose to disregard this e-mail as just another complaint from just one person, however as a business owner I know I would rather be made aware of issues that would effect future customer relations than to lose the customers and not know why. Read moreOrdered food through the website and paid for it. Was informed the time that the order would be ready to be picked up. Went there to pick up my order at the specified time, actually 4 minutes later than stated. When I spoke to the speaker, they stated that I had to wait in line. The line of cars was long and if you've ever experienced Clarksville indiana's store, you know how long it takes with just one car in front. I had somewhere I had to be, that's why I ordered through the site, so I had to leave. When I went back to complain the next day the supervisor would not even come out to talk to me. I requested to speak to the manager, was told he was out of town. Then I requested his number, they would not give it to me, only stated that I could leave my number and he would get back to me. Still have not heard back from him, it's been 4 months. I tried to reach out to the corporation and received NO response from the emails and phone calls I sent. So decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau... They have such a BAD review that the BBB will not even grant them a rating. Every chance I get I tell everyone NOT to go to the Clarksville Captain D's. I like Captain D's food, BUT their customer service is NON EXISTENT AND they are CROOKS. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FOOD. THEY TOOK MY MONEY WITHOUT PROVIDING MY FOOD. BUYERS BEWARE!!! WORTHLESS COMPANY! WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE... ACTUALLY NONE. DO NOT GO TO CLARKSVILLE INDIANA...
Read moreI did the drive thru. and ordered a family meal including a 10 piece fish and 10 piece chicken. I had not been here in quite some time but have always LOVED their dipped fish and chicken (the ones you see a picture of if you ever look up Captain D) but the fish I got was a totally different batter than I've ever seen used and the size of the pieces were about the length of my finger and really thin.. When I have purchased the family meal from here it was ALWAYS the dipped batter.. but not this time.. I was crushed! (I'd been craving THEIR fish for weeks). Long story short.. I called and left a comment about my disappointment with the new? batter and I was called back today. I explained that the staff was awesome, attentive, and the store was clean (from what I could see as I was at the window)..that I did NOT want anything because we ate the meal.. I just wanted to comment about the disappointment in what we got and ask why it was different from any other time before.. The gentleman was kind and listened and we commented back and forth.. letting me know that what I was given was or should have ALWAYS been the normal fish with that meal but it just was that they seemed to have been giving the wrong fish with it. I learned and my comments heard that the fish I wanted (expected to be with the meal) is now a suggestion to Corporate. Thanks for following up with me, Captain D's!
