Went in on 5/14/13 around 11:00 AM. When I walked in, the girl standing at the counter didn't greet me. She was working a different station that day, I think she was drive thru, so I guess she felt she didn't have to greet anyone who came in the front door, even if she was standing at the counter. She walked away to another part of the work area. When the cashier finally came over to take my order, I got a very quiet "hi". I ordered a sandwich, two donuts, and a cup of water. He had to charge me for the cup, ridiculous to do in a competitive market where most quick-serve restaurants do not charge. The guy at the sandwich station smashed his finger because he was trying to work quickly. The cashier asked if he was okay. The sandwich maker said, "If they would hire people who actually showed up on time, this wouldn't happen." He continued to speak in an angry tone and kind of bang things around. When I received my order, the bun on my sandwich was dry and hard to chew. In-between customers, the crew did not speak to each other. No one smiled. They all look miserable. It is a very depressing and stressful environment. I did not enjoy my experience there at all. It appears that the store is under poor management. The manager or store owner came in while I was eating, I'm not sure what he was, but no one was happy to see him and no one smiled when he spoke to them. The crew just looks way too unhappy to be there. From what I saw, this store has a lack of training, a lack of accountability, a lack of motivation, a lack of leadership, and a lack of encouragement. Also, the decor is very dark and depressing. It is clean, but not nearly as colorful and brightly-lit as other Dunkin Donuts locations I have been to. This one has maroon...
Read moreThis place is horrible. This morning I ordered a coffee for my fiancé and I. I’ve been a Dunkin’ Donuts fanatic ever since a little kid. I’ve stopped at this place several times and every time I stop it’s never a good time. Today I ordered a nitro cold brew with sweet cold foam and a pumpkin spice latte for her with half dozen of donuts. While ordering I was informed that they can only do my brew in a small? I was confused. Why can’t I pick a size? I get to the window then worker proceeds to tell me if it was okay with a regular cold brew, her taps were not working. So you’re going to charge me for a “nitro” but give me “bottom shelf” coffee. I said I guess. Red flag number one. Then I proceed to wait by the curb because the coffees weren’t ready. Short moments later a worker comes out and hands me the drinks. He said “So sorry about the wait we actually got the nitro to work.” I said all right while I looked at him confused as to what he handed me? It looked like they poorly poured it, no sweet cold foam, NO ICE, was this left over coffee?? like cmon if I wanted this kind of service and product I would have went to McDonald’s. I strongly believe this wasn’t a nitro cold brew as I’ve been to the other location in Clarksville and they get my order to me on time and correct. Today marks the day that DD has lost my business from now on and I will be going to Starbucks instead. My fiancé was correct Starbucks is the way to go, longer wait lines, BUT AT LEAST, I don’t have to be guessing what I’m about to drink. See attached photos and...
Read moreThis particular Dunking Doughnuts, is one of 2, situated in the heart of Clarksville, TN. This one is on a main strip/flow of traffic area, with many stores and convenience places, surrounding it. Out of the 2 DD stores in Clarksville, this one comes in 2nd place. They provide what's on the normal menu, still facilitate and operates as a typical DD would, but their overrall appearance of the establishment is sometimes dirty and "ghetto." As far as food and drinks go, they have always served everything warm, if it needed to be, but their attention to detail, if you are ordering a semi complicated coffee beverage, IS below the DD standard. (Hence the reason why I frequent the DD on Tiny Town Road instead.) Also, I went here this past week, and this is about the 4th or 5th time, that I have had the older Asian lady, at the drive-thru. She really IS NOT customer friendly, and really DOES NOTseem to understand English well; especially if you need to ask a question about your food or beverage order. I thought that the first time I had her as a window attendant at DD, that maybe she was just having a bad day, which everyone is justified in having....having seen, spoken with, and been served by her frequent times now, I havr come to the conclusion that this cold shoulder, off putting personality, is just how her personality is. (Which is another reason why I choose the other DD on tiny town road, unless I...
