This is an update from the review I had below.... I come through this drive-thru all the time, tonight was a little bit different than usual. Usually, it's horrible service, and the customer is never right. And it starts from the management on down. There's an elderly manager that works the overnight shift that does a great job but her staff is horrible. So tonight I go through drive thru and order my usual to double cheeseburgers no pickle. And I also used the app to get a large french fry for free. Well when I got up there the person work can drive through gave me my order and for some reason I decided to check it before I pulled off. Good thing I did, cuz there was only one double cheeseburger in there. Now at this point I waved the young lady that handed me the order down and after she was doing what she was doing.. she came back to the window and I explained this to her. She asked me if I wanted the other one just like the first one with no pickle I said yes. So then she told me okay that will be $3.83 or something like that. Well when you have a special going on for buy a double cheeseburger get a double cheeseburger for a dollar it makes absolutely no sense to order just one. I didn't say that I just explained to her that it should have been just a dollar. And she interrupting me as I was telling her this to tell me well not when you wait till you get up here to order it. This after I already told her I ordered it in the back just like that. And I simply said this is not my fault. At which time she closed the window and walked away. Then she said something to the gentleman that was inside taking the next order and he came to the window and asked what the issue was. I explained to him exactly what had happened and just like that. He fixed the problem. That is a true manager. I am flabbergasted and how professional he was. He did a great job and deserves to get looked at for a higher position. McDonald's is slacking when it comes to finding good management here in Clarksville Tennessee. It is terrible the managers they have in position at not one, not two, but every single location here in Clarksville. I have been in the food and beverage industry for most of my life. And then staff and management act as if everything is the customer's fault.. and never right. They've argued with me, they've given me the wrong order many times, one time they gave me the wrong order I brought it back in and apparently it was for drive-thru they took the bag that I had brought outside and handed it to the car that was in drive-thru. Had it not been me, someone could have got hurt or poisoned. It just makes no sense how this is such a complicated matter with the corporation. I'm a 54-year-old man that has seen a lot in my time. I have watched people very closely in my years... And for the most part, the human race is getting extremely intelligent on one side.. but on the other side... There's just no hope it seems like. Now I know there's got to be some people in the middle that can take care of customers on a regular basis and actually enjoy their job. McDonald's you either got to start paying your people better or start screening them better because it is a customer service industry that you're hiring them for and if they are not good with customers.
Just terrible service all the time. There are a couple employees that are an exception to this. And a nice lady manager that works at night. Other than her, and a young man named Michael Meritt and maybe two other people at the most, only thing I've seen as bad as this place, is the one on Riverside Drive. Rude, slow, orders always wrong, customer is never right, always closed when the sign says open 24 hours a day. They close every night for at the minimum 1 hour. How is that 24 hours a day? Must be some new math out there I'm not familiar with. And then when they have an issue and close, they leave the sign on so people pull in only to be told that they are closed. I mean gas isn't free, time is not free, why is it so hard to just shut the sign off. I mean is this...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star, it would be appropriate. So I've been doing some DoorDash deliveries in my spare time and tonight I decided to do some. Well my first one dispatched me to McDonald's on fort Campbell boulevard in Clarksville Tennessee. The order came up for two cheeseburger meal with a medium fry and a medium Sprite. So I go through drive-thru and I order myself a single cheeseburger with no pickle. I figured I would get a snack while I was there. Now McDonald's has a policy for DoorDash drivers to park in the parking lot and go to the front door and ring a doorbell and they will bring you the food. Which makes absolutely no sense to me but that's their policy. Not one other restaurant in all the deliveries I've done do it this way. For all other pickups at every other restaurant when it's late, I pick up through drive-thru. So anyways that's the policy. I think it needs to be looked at. However, so I ordered my cheeseburger no pickle, and I parked and I went in the front door and rang the doorbell well I sat there for about 10 minutes and one of the managers brought out my cheeseburger that had been ordered after I was dispatched for my door dash order. Keep in mind my DoorDash order was for two cheeseburgers and a medium french fry. That's it well with the exception of a medium Sprite that pours itself with their new machine. So after waiting 10 minutes in the front waiting area, the manager hands me my cheeseburger, and then about 10 minutes later, she brings out two orders, and they were for the other delivery drivers that were waiting also. That had came in after me. I don't know what order they were placed but I know this, my drive-thru order for a cheeseburger with no pickle was placed after my DoorDash order was placed. So here it is 10 minutes after I get my cheeseburger and still no delivery order for me. 10 minutes later which was 20 minutes after I got there I rang the doorbell and nothing I then walked back outside and looked to drive through and there was no vehicles whatsoever in the drive-thru. At which time I walked up to the drive-thru window and knocked on it. At this moment I could clearly see my DoorDash order getting cold on the counter. The lady working the drive-thru window open up and I told her I had an order for DoorDash and that was it and she told me she couldn't do nothing to go around and wait up front I told her that my cheeseburger no pickle order was placed after my DoorDash order came in that it was only two cheeseburgers in a french fry and all she had to do was hand it to me. Yet she refused. I then went back up front rang the doorbell. At this point, another doordash driver came in and rang the doorbell and about 5 minutes after I left the drive-thru window, remember, My DoorDash order was still on the counter getting cold for 5 plus minutes after I said something in the drive-thru window. So the manager comes out with my order, and the new DoorDash drivers order who had only been there two or three minutes. So I tell the manager that there's no way my cheeseburger with no pickle should have been done before two regular cheeseburgers and a medium fry that was ordered before mine. She said... Okay and turned around and walked back to the counter and set both bags on the counter and disappeared. I then got my vehicle and went around the drive-thru again and sat in front of the window until another manager came up and told me to go up front to meet her up front again now mind you I've been in this room up front this will be the third time now for two cheeseburgers a medium fry and a medium Sprite. And now it's been 30 minutes since I accepted the order. So I go to the front window and The manager that was nowhere to be found when all this was going on tells me I need my phone so I have to walk out to waiting. McDonald's is more concerned with their drive-thru times than anything else period. now I eat at this restaurant all the time, and with attitudes, and service like I received tonight, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Burger King, are all within...
Read moreI pick up for Uber & I usually don't accept McDonald's orders because it is always so time consuming or we are met with nasty attitudes & unmotivated workers. I tried to give it another shot with it being a Sunday maybe it wouldn't be as crazy but nope just like any other day. In the early evening between 5:30-6p I watched Uber prep girl flop around & drag about doing her job. Attitude just pouring like a broken faucet. She proceeds to pack an order & hand the driver a bag with drinks in it but the bottom was about two seconds from falling out. The driver tried to ask for another bag & she ignored her. One of her co-workers stopped to help the lady asking for another bag, he then let's the Uber order prep girl know that another bag was needed & she replied "I'm not doing that". When she finally turned around with another bag she snatched the drinks & slammed the torn bag into a new bag while arguing with the Uber driver about why she looked back at another person (me), was something funny, are we talking about her, called the lady old telling her she was 60 & kept carrying on even after the driver took the food & left. I decided I had seen enough ghetto antics & cancelled the delivery I was on because the shift leader just kept doing what she was doing as of her employee was not misbehaving. Fast forward to later once the lobby closes the drive-thru is what we use. Any other night we have been told to pull around to get the orders. I used to sit in line & wait but was told to just pull around to get the pickup, this has been a continuous thing. Tonight around 11:30p I pull up for an order & I was met with yet another attitude saying that no you have to go through the speaker & it isn't ready anyway because we don't do that at this location, not true. This was the last McDonald's I would accept deliveries for being that we could just pull around & not all be piled up in the lobby waiting. It was the way it was said that is the problem. I kindly told her not to worry about it I just cancelled the order no problem. The customer service at this location has gone down & these children are forgetting that they represent Ronald McDonald. Why be so nasty? If you are not happy with your job it's not the fault of the consumer or the delivery drivers helping keep the revenue of the business up. Respect is a two-way street although I won't stoop so low to give the children the same energy they dish out it needs to be acknowledged. They will continue to have long & hard days if they continue to lead with such disdain for life. Money for us can still be made without McDonald's but if McDonald's is your only means of bringing home a paycheck then respect yourself & the others helping you stay in business. I will continue to not accept any McDonald's orders for delivery so that I'm not subjected to such low treatment. I wish the best for those poor souls that feel bigger or better by mistreating others at a job that they signed up for. I'm smart enough to only go where I'm respected & feel good about being there. No job is worth such bad energy, if it's that bad leave for your sanity. If you have no other option then make the best of what you have. The drivers will make...
