Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Clayton

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! I JUST MOVED TO THE AREA 3 WEEKS AGO, FOUND A PIZZA BOX FROM MARCOS (EMPTY) ON MY COUNTER ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF COUPONS AND FIGURED I'D SAVE IT TO TRY LATER. SO OF COURSE IT'S FRIDAY AND THE KIDS WANT PIZZA, I REMEMBERED THE BOX HAD A FREE PIZZA OFFER ON TOP SO I DECIDED WHY NOT TRY MARCOS OUT SINCE WE'VE NEVER HAD IT BEFORE. I CALL, PLACE THE ORDER AND THEN GO TO PICK IT UP ABOUT 20 MINS LATER. THE GENERAL MANAGER FRANK WAS AN ABSOLUTE JERK! I'VE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. THE PIZZA BOX HAD TO BE TURNED IN, IN ORDER TO GET THE FREE PIZZA. FRANK (GM) TAKES THE BOX AND THEN ASKS ME IF I LIVED IN AN APARTMENT....I REPLY NO, I LIVE IN THE ARCHER'S LODGE AREA. HE THEN GETS VERY NASTY, RAISES HIS VOICE AND STARTS YELLING THAT THE DEAL IS FOR APARTMENT COMPLEXS ONLY!!! I HAD NOOOOOO WAY OF KNOWING THAT SEEING HOW I'D NEVER BEEN TO MARCO'S BEFORE AND SEEING THAT IT DOESN'T STATE THAT ON THE OFFER. HE GOES ON AND ON YELLING AND CALLED ME A FRAUD! AS I'M TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM THAT I WASN'T AWARE! AT THIS POINT I'M PISSED! NOT BECAUSE I WASNT GETTING A FREE PIZZA BUT BECAUSE THIS MAN WAS BEING COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL AND WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM PAYING FOR THE PIZZA IF HADN'T BE SO RUDE TO ME! HE DIDN'T CARE NOTE ONE BIT! HE HAD MADE IT UP IN HIS MIND THAT I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET A FREE PIZZA THAT HE WOULD NOT STOP TO LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS TRYING TO TELL HIM FOR ONE SECOND. I ASKED FOR CORPORATE AND THE OWNER'S INFORMATION AND HE FLAT OUT REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANYTHING. I WAS SO ANGRY THAT I WALKED OUT BUT DECIDED TO TURN AROUND AND GO BACK IN. I ASKED THE GIRL AT THE COUNTER TO RING ME UP FOR THE PIZZA (FRANK HAD WALKED AWAY FROM THE COUNTER AND WAS NOW ON THE PHONE) I PAID FOR THE PIZZA AND THEN THREW IT IN THE TRASH IN HIS FACE! MY POINT TO HIM WAS IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE FREE PIZZA, IT WAS ABOUT THE WAY HE TREATED ME. THE OWNER NEEDS TO KNOW THAT IF HE CONTINUES TO TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW GOOD THE PIZZA IS YOU WILL LOSE BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN AND I'LL BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT...

Very disappointed I am a 3 year repeat customer that has bought at times 2 orders a week but if not almost once every week and things were great until recently. The first mishap was a week ago when they sent us the wrong pizza as well as both salads we ordered wrong as well. When the driver arrived she did not have cell service so she asked me to sign the receipt on the top of the box which as you know has no place to sign at to complete and authorize the transaction. So when I called the owner answered the phone and said he was fixing to call he realized the orders were swapped by mistake and he had our correct pizza and 2 salads on the way. I mentioned as well I didn’t feel comfortable not being able to complete my CC transaction because they could ultimately authorize it for whatever whit whatever kind of tip and he assured me it would only be charged what the receipt said and it was. So tonight we order our same order we order our pizza and 2 salads and 1 of the 2 salads was wrong and the when I called the owner wanted to basically beat me all around the bush and insult me by saying you know bacon is extra it doesn’t come on a salad but it’s an add on extra.......Well duh.....not to mention it’s practically a crime to charge 7$ for a side salad. My business with Marco’s ended this evening after 3 years and we will be sure to find a restaurant that appreciates and is fair to...

This place is disgusting. I placed an order for the same pizza I always ordered, the pizza showed up 30 mins later and it was someone else's pizza. So I called the store back and explained to them that they gave me someone else's pizza, after they looked up my order, they told me they would make a new pizza and send it out, this was at 6:56 pm. At 7:40 I still hadn't received my pizza so I called the store back and the proceeded to tell me they were going to get my pizza from the house they dropped it at and I said " you where supposed to be making a new pizza for me where is it?. Well they hadn't started making one because they went to get my pizza and swap it out with the one they gave me, which is an obvious heath violation and horrible business. So after all the pizza switching I told them to bring me money back and the manager said fine. the lady thought came to the house still tried to give me my pizza that had been at someone else's house for an hour and cold I'm sure. The owner of this establishment needs to clan house and hire new people cause the ones working are morons and have no place in the food and...
