Beto’s in Clearfield has been part of my neighborhood for years, and while it has shown some culinary improvement over time, their customer service leaves much to be desired. Initially, the quality of the food didn’t meet expectations, so I would often opt for the drive over to Rancheritos. However, I decided to give Beto’s another try recently, noting some positive changes in flavor and quality. Unfortunately, this renewed hope was dampened by inconsistencies in both food preparation and service. On one visit, I ordered carne asada fries, only to find the fries undercooked. It was a minor setback, so I returned, politely requesting well-cooked fries this time. Regrettably, my request was met with an unprofessional response from the drive-through attendant, who reacted quite defensively. The interaction was surprising and left a rather unpleasant impression. The situation worsened when, upon receiving my order, I voiced a polite hope that the food was prepared with care, given the earlier exchange. To my dismay, I later discovered a hair in my meal, a detail that only underscored the service issues I had encountered. In summary, while Beto’s has made strides in food quality, they would greatly benefit from a focus on consistency and professionalism in their customer service. At this point, it remains difficult to recommend them without reservations.

This was my go to place when I lived in clearfield I even drove all the way up from Ogden because they were that good and the salsa was the best I had in Utah now it’s just a hit and miss I’ve noticed they started cutting corners with they’re salsa eventually they’ll start cutting corners with they’re burrito ingredients too. it’s a shame, I use to brag about this being the best betos in Utah. Mix breakfast burrito still on point though

Just got home. We opened our food my daughters bean and cheese burrito is cold to touch, and the cheese isn’t even melted. On top of that my potatoes in my California burrito are uncooked. I’ve called a number of times no one picks up. To help me get a refund or a replacement order. Price of food has increased quality has decreased and size/amount of food has decreased. Go to another location this place is a joke

tl;dr: these guys are jokesters. they got my order wrong. insisted that i was wrong, the replacement burrito they gave me may as well have been a used tire.

I go here once a month or so and every single time I grab the same burrito. Sometimes, the order taker will repeat the order back to me to make sure they got it right. Most of the time they just say "thank you".

Without fail, I check before I leave to make sure they got it right (I ask for no eggs and always check to make sure they didn't put eggs on there).

Well, today I checked and it was the wrong kind of meat. I couldnt get the ladies attention so I drove back around and let her know of the mistake. When I got to the window, she seemed to think I wanted another burrito. I handed it to her and she disappeared for a minute. She came back and the cook was with her.

This cook was a real piece of work. First of all, the drive thru lady tried to convince me that I had ordered a "meats" burrito. I told her no. I ordered Steak. I order this every single time. Suppose I had misspoke (again, I didn't, but hypothetically), its still on them for not confirming it. But back to the cook. This clown starts insisting that I had ordered meats. I told him no.......it was steak! He stormed off still growling..."meats! not steak! meats!" This is so unprofessional. I wasn't rude. I didn't yell or act condescending.

Anyway, I am done with them. I suggest you...

My family and I went to this location to order food. We had heard good things about this location, so we figured we'd give it a try. While in the drive thru, we needed to look at the menu, and it took us a few minutes to get everyone's orders. Before we were ready to order, the cashier told us to hurry up because a line had formed behind us. A few moments later, we were ready to order. After ordering our food, we moved forward to find the person in front of us hadn't received their order yet. After several minutes, the people in front of us got their food and we pulled up to the window. I gave the female cashier my card to pay for our meal, and she took my card out of sight heading into the kitchen. About 10 minutes later, she brought back my card with the receipt. Another 10 minutes passed and our food was brought to the window. We left and we ate our meal. Later the same evening, we noticed a charge on my card for a transaction to PayPal for $17 that did not come from any transaction for neither my wife nor me. I reviewed my receipt, and noticed that the cashier didn't even use her own credentials when checking us out as there were 2 male names as our server and cashier listed. We will never return to this location for food due to the disrespect that was shown to us by the cashier as we were placing our order and the apparent theft that took place...

My father and I stopped in there after a night out of fun. We walked into Beto's in great moods and walked out displeased. I personally love Beto's. My father flew in from a small town in Pa.. he had no idea what he was ordering.. it's after midnight.. they knew we were ordering for ourself.. and they allowed him to rack up a 25.00 bill just for himself and without a drink. Lol. When he seem the sizes of their sizes and how much food he ordered he about died. However, he we laughed and started to dig in. That's when I noticed the quesadilla was burnt on the side facing down. I flipped it over and not only was it burnt but the cook picked at it talking away the crispy charcoal black pieces other the tortilla making it appear not burnt. Nothing could have saved that thing though... it was BURNT. How hard would it hand been to just make another one? We were the only ones there. So when I mentioned it.. instantly the cashier had an attitude. She no longer spoke English. And she had another woman come ... she messed up when she had assumed that since my father had no idea what Carne Asada was. . That his daughter wouldn't be able to understand her when she not only called me out of my name in Spanish but also told the cook to make the next one raw! (Yes she said it sarcastically..either way. .. RUDE & UNCALLED for) however the rest of the food was...
