This is my very first time going to a Raising Cane's restaurant. I have heard a lot of hype about them. I have read a lot of reviews about how awesome their chicken fingers are, and I have to be honest that I was not very impressed. That being said I will point out that the chicken was soft and very juicy. Unfortunately though the breading on the chicken fingers was very bland. The breading honestly to me tasted no different than the flower and water batter I would make it home. Unfortunately due to all the hype from the people that talk to me about this place and the reviews I read all talking about how flavorful and tasty the chicken is. I was both fairly disappointed and surprised in a saddened way that where the flavor for the chicken fingers was in fact the dipping sauces. Don't get me wrong dipping sauces are a lot of times a very essential part. Yet I have in the past had chicken strips that the chicken itself has a Savory flavor to itself and that flavor leeches into the breading. Thus making the chicken strip the main dynamite flavor to the whole thing. The Texas toast had a good texture and flavor so I did expect to enhance it by dunking it in the dipping sauce. Although I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the honey mustard for the first time and realize that it was freshly made honey mustard! Which could have only been made right there on site at that location, and so I give the honey mustard an A+ rating! The Cane's sauce as well was very flavorful, but I was expecting more from the chicken fingers themselves due to all the hype I read. I think it's wonderful that this company is wanting to dedicate itself to just chicken fingers and not be going into all the other avenues out there. Yet it makes me wonder is the goal for the company to have amazing chicken fingers or an awesome honey mustard and cane sauce for dipping and the chicken is just on the sideline? I did really like the sweet tea especially learning that it's freshly brewed on site and by far that was the best glass of sweet tea I have ever had, and I've had a lot! With respect to this being the first time I've ever tried this company's food I will be giving it another try later down the road. I just said the moment will need to do some more research before I go back for the second attempt. That is the reasoning why I gave the three stars instead of a higher rating. I encourage everybody to try this restaurant if you've never had their food before. Because just like with movies which is no different than food you eat in this situation. Each and every one of us is our own best critic. Have an...

*NOT this place. No one likes to say it, good tenders..but look at it. THREE fit on a bun!!! The sandwich is like 9.99. . . For three tiny tenders and cheap fries and pushy service? No thanks. Full story below
....
Yeahhh.
The menu consists of:: ** chicken strips.fries. tiny coleslaws..bread.. and drinks. That appears to be it.*😪 I hoped for too much.
But they wanted me out asap. . . Judging by the yelling at me and ignoring my questions..
NOT a single-other person in the VERY long DT line.... ** Rep:" chicken chicken chicken tell me what you're pickin!" ☆me: " I've never come to a canes before. I'm looking.. " Rep: chicken! chicken! chicken!Tell me what your picken!!...
☆ :how much is a chicken sandwich??☆ Rep: "Ok! So one chicken sandwich!!" Me: No...repeat..☆ Rep: "Ok. So thats a sandwich!?" Um.. Repeat ☆ I was about to leave when he said "sorry it's windy. ... " and answered.
That was a lie. The parking lot was so silent, empty and expansive. . . I could have heard someone sneeze. . Had they walked by..
He told me just the sandwich is $8-9. I went to ask but he confirmed Rep: "One sandwich.??" Me: " No ill take the combo thank you. With a lemonade..." Thanks.. So i concluded, the combo at 9.99 is best.. no help from him. In retrospect, maybe I would be best with the strip meal .. so I could at least try a few bites of coleslaw...like a 2 or 3 oz cup When I got to the window, there were at least 10 people working.... You'd think they could help the one customer 🤷🏻♀️
I feel cheated. $11.03 and I got: 1 watery lemonade (icy 20 oz-med) 1 "sandwich" that consists of 3 small (but nice) tenders..and a sauce that tastes like a Tbsp mayo and a drop of ....BBQ? Very hard to quite make out what flavor it's going for..very plain...creamy..?? 1 handful of cheap dollar-tree crinkle fries. Really. . Ok. .. Absolutely nothing exceptional here. I absolutely think it's good chicken... but 11 dollars and the only thing to really hold up is 3 small tenders? No thanks. I will go to publix for my tenders. At least I can get good service there.
Oh and the app is how u get points.. unless you pick up a card in person. Which he didn't swipe...just said use it next time. Unless every other location available to get chicken closes..I wont be back. This is the south.there are options..
It's like if chick Fil a became...
Read moreI have never had Canes Chicken and decided to fight the lines and go try it for the first time. This location is new and it was hard to find a parking spot as well as you have a far walk to get to the inside. This is a poorly design parking situation as it is not suited for a handicap person.
Got inside and there were no signs of where to go to order. Finally found the line and we wait in line for about 15 minutes. It did move quick though given how many people were in line.
Looked up at the menu and was surprised that they really only have four options to choose. It comes down to how many chicken tenders you want in your meal. It ranges from 2 to 6 pieces. Then they have the family bucket option. Then I looked at the prices and it is higher than I expected but every restaurant pricing is out of control now a days.
Our name was finally called after 20 minutes. It was really loud with the music playing and everyone screaming. Lucky I didn’t miss her calling our name.
When I received the food, I was very disappointed with everything! The chicken tenders were made up of small pieces. The fries were small portion and had no flavor so I had to go find some salt. The cole slaw was very bland. The texas toast was just to thick.
Overall, I definitely didn’t feel that the meal was all that good for the hype. I will say one thing is that the chicken tenders were definitively moist and tender and stayed that way throughout the entire meal. The breading was not overly heavy but did lack flavor. They should do a spicy version.
I will say this, I don’t think I will be back. Lack of menu options and the high prices for small chicken tenders will not be bringing me back. i will say that the chicken is so much better than chick fil a and it is rank 3rd of my favorite chicken restaurant but won’t...
