This place is the same wherever you find it. I was so happy to be able to bring my goddaughter here. We had gone to see a movie on the beach. And although it was chilly and we were wrapped in blankets, we stopped for Rita's on the way home. This particular Rita's holds fond nenories for me from a decade ago when my great niece and I would visit for a treat on days when I had a little extra cash. We would savor each spoonful of deluciousness as we skated, biked, or skateboarded our way along the pier.My great niece and goddaughter are great friends each with her own memories of me and Rita's. So when I told my goddaughter there was a Rita's she begged to go and I agreed and we savored our memories in a cup. Her mom and I used to take her for Rita's in Atlanta near midtown after the movies and then later we we would go when visiting her grandmother near her hospital. The fact that the owner has to advertise free ice cream if you give her a (fraudulent) good review should tell you everything. The fact that you have to BRIBE people to leave a good review says it ALLLLL 😂 Trying oh so hard to hide the ACTUAL REVIEWS. Pathetic establishment, lack of customer service skills & common courtesy for that matter. Took a half eaten ice cream from a CHILD because the owner refused to accept a $100 bill because you didn’t know if it was fake or not? I went to Rita’s in hopes of a treat. I typically go to Rita’s for ice cream so I wasn’t excepting a bad experiences since I’ve had so many great ones. An associate named Lily helped me today. She was the absolute worst. She couldn’t even do her job right and was extremely harsh and rude. I love Rita’s so much so I was really disappointed after this interaction with such a difficult employee. Looks like I will be going to the Clearwater location now!...
