My wife and I ate there yesterday for a dine-in meal. We both ordered a three piece meal. For the first time in fifty years eating at KFC I ordered the crispy instead of original. Huge mistake. The chicken was greasy, the coating fell apart, and the meal was tasteless. We ate a couple of pieces of chicken which were both dark meat (two legs and two thighs). Not a big deal ,but we have always gotten a mixed white and dark chicken box without asking; again we have eaten at KFC for fifty years. We boxed up the remaining two pieces of chicken and went home. A couple of hours later we ate the two remaining pieces of chicken which also turned out to be dark meat (thighs). Just glancing at a thigh or breast pieces can be misjudged. I called the store which the phone repeatedly rang and then hung up on my attempts. I then attempted to contact corporate but it keeps you on hold indefinitely. I again called the store and asked for the manager which he acknowledged himself as Mike the manager. I explained the situation and he stated that it is customary to give all dark meat to dine- in customers unless they specifically ask for certain chicken parts. I have never heard this before but maybe this is the new norm. I asked Mike a couple of questions and he repeated himself over again about the dark meat for dining-in. No communication skills whatsoever which he never answered my questions. At one point he said hold on for a moment which was actually three minutes and he never returned to the phone. I could hear him in the background talking but he never returned to the phone. I called back and another manager named Arden, female , explained the same thing to me but this time she said she would replace the order for free and added " two free meals won't hurt us." We have decided never to return and I don't care about free food. The attitude is exactly what we are experiencing lately in the restaurant industry. I know understaffed is an issue but please be mindful of guests who do not understand the new protocols...

I understand that you maybe quite busy at a moment on your job. but, it is no excuse to not acknowledge a customer when they come in to your establishment. When I and my friend went to KFC we went though the drive thru first. The wait was long so we decided that she would drive around and let me go inside. when I walked inside I saw 3 ladies. 2 in the back preparing customer orders and a young guy walked up from the back of the work area then walked back. and the other lady to whom appeared to be a manager was at the drive thru window, One of the girls working she saw me when I walked in. I waited as I could see they were busy. but, never a word that someone would be with me momentarily. As the girl was completing a drive thru order she bagged it walked out to drive thru to deliver never saying a word going there and coming back into the store, after she got back into her work area then the lady at drive thru turned around and says Ma'am someone will be with you in a moment. and I then heard her say "she looking at me like I'm crazy". I walked over to where they could hear me. and told them to not ignore your customers that I'd been standing there for awhile. They didn't appear to take what I said very well I was not rude I was upset . I just decided that was enough and told the lady that it was to late I felt that I needed to take my business elsewhere. I don't know if anyone in management will look at this but, some customer skills need to be applied. Be careful of what you say around your customers and always greet them with the best service you can. it was a very bad experience today. This would make any customer not want...
ย ย ย Read moreThank you Ms Maria & Brenda! Tee is not kind at all & talks to some of the employees unprofessionally with his nasty attitude, & Secreta needs to work on pleasantry to all customers & employees regardless if her sister is manager or not. If the heat is too much for ya, stay out of the kitchen! Both AA managers were rude & insensitive to me. When you give a person authority, they think they arrived there on their own, & tries to run with it, but can't handle pressure. Sometimes, a backseat is needed to be taken when we think we're above someone else. I have my opinion about these ppl & have had my encounters that I endured while trying to have a good meal just as anyone else @ this KFC more than once. My order of a drumstick & a breast turned out to be a wing & a thigh. Start by getting customers' orders correct! Then some of management & some of the workers need to change those nasty attitudes! When you work with the public, you have to leave the nasty attitudes at home, or stay home if you don't feel like encountering ppl & working! If you can't handle getting swamped at times bc the chicken is so good when it's hot, & you receive the correct order, you don't need to work there! KFC needs to open when the sign says they will, or take the sign down & open when they please. All some customers want is the correct order, hot chicken, & a comfortable, friendly atmosphere to relax & enjoy a good dinner. No one who orders take out want to get home & discover they put the wrong meal in their bag. I am very specific, give me what I ordered & paid for! Good management & professional, nice employees go a long way, &...
