Wings: 9 of 10 only because I would have liked a little more sauce on it. 75 cent wings on Wednesday nights not sure if that is every Wednesday as I had never been before. Those wings are big and meaty! French Dip sandwich: off the charts dunked in the au jus sauce! Lots of meat bread is toasted perfectly so that when you dip it in the sauce it soaks up all that juicy amazing au jus and doesn't get soggy. The onion rings are huge! Good breading but it soaks up a lot of oil and is the reason I didn't give the food 5 stars. They tasted good but like I mentioned just very oily. The bartender was very nice and friendly she didn't steer me wrong with the wings. Atmosphere: was nice there were some locals at the bar whom seem to go there often and I had a pleasant conversation with them. Lots of couples and friends having dinner there. Guys stop on by this pub and enjoy a cold drink, great food and good service!!

I got the fish and chips and ordered via takeout. I said on the call I wanted extra tartar and lemon, I got extra lemon but no tartar. Cool! Tell me why I have to wait over 10 mins to get my food while waiting at the bar, walk 5 mins away to my spot and take a bite of some soggy ass undercooked fish! If I had the tartar sauce then I wouldn't be so mad, but the fact I got no sauce and this fish underfried has me upset. The portion size is nice, TOO BAD IT'S SOGGY! I've ordered fried fish from other spots on doordash and waited an hour to still get crunchy fish. This is unnaceptable! This photo is only 5 mins after receiving and opening the container! This food is under fried, how dare you call this a fish fry! Who the hell enjoys this! I wasted 20 bucks on this crap!

Loved the French onion soup! I think this might have been my favorite soup! For appetizer we had the rib/fry combo - the ribs were great...plenty of meat and a great sauce. The fries were probably the biggest let down...just regular greasy pub fries. The garlic parm wings were fantastic tho! I had the Perch which was really good - flaky and plenty of it. Taste was great, loved every bite! My daughter had the Carolina chicken and absolutely loved it as well! We weren't crazy about the cucumber ranch - the cucumber taste was too strong, it was good, but might have been a little better if it was toned down...but that might just be us. The server was very friendly and attentive - unfortunately I don't recall her name. Overall I would highly recommend Flat Iron!!

Staying in the area for work, and had a couple locals tell me to “go to the flat iron and order lake perch”. Finally made it in for lunch, ordered the perch sandwich and onion rings. This is said to be local Lake Erie perch and a “must have” while in the area. They did not lack in the portion size, the sandwich was stacked with fish, which was fried perfectly, and delicious! The onion rings were enormous and crispy and maybe even stole the show from the perch. Washed it all down with a local beer, and out the door for around $20. Great lunch, great historic location, and great staff! I’d return again, next time later in the evening to enjoy a few more beers and the live music advertised.

Expect traditional Irish Pierogi dishes in a very laid-back no commitment middle if the road restaraunt that is almost a stroll back in time in terms of service, selection and humble verbal exchanges. Area is super industrial with HUGE 5 story plus tall steel bridge structures blocking the waterfront view , almost feels like the "wrong side of the tracks" but the contrast & atmosphere is surprisingly pleasant with elders and children. Try the crispy Philly Cheese steak specialty hard taco fried with home-made soft meaty queso center. They are only available on Taco Tuesday is what Shannon said. Honest people, good food, decent prices.
