Seems like it's primarily a takeout joint, but there's an option to get things for dine-in. That being said, the actual restaurant is rather small, with no public bathroom. There are maybe 5 tables total, all cramped together. The place seemed a little dirty, with both the floor and the tables being sticky. The food itself was the best part of the experience. I ordered a couple different things, just to try them - the beef noodle soup, curry beef stew rice bowl, Taiwan popcorn chicken, and matcha milk tea. The milk tea was good, and it was exactly what I wanted out of a bubble tea. The Taiwan popcorn chicken was a great shareable appetizer. The curry beef stew rice bowl was a bit bland in flavor, but everything tasted good overall. The beef noodle soup was great all around, however, I do wish the noodles were a bit tougher. It really felt like the noodles melted as soon as I tasted them. Overall, a decent experience. From what I gather, this really is the only place serving "authentic" Taiwanese food in Cleveland! *Pics - I put the takeout dishes into bowls for better...
Read moreI am completely speechless that this dish shown here was served as the traditional Taiwanese dish, 3 cup chicken. This dish was so good and authentic on Superior and that's why we came here for this dish since that one is closed. However it tastes nothing like the original recipe. The most important ingredient thai basil leaves were nowhere to be seen. Instead, they used ground up dry Italian basil, which is NOT the same thing. The dish added bell peppers and onions and those are not ingredients for 3 cup chicken. The ingredient that most betrayed the tradition of the dish, however, is ketchup. 3 cup chicken doesn't involve tomatoes or excessive sweetness. I am sad for phusion cafe used to be my go to place for authentic Taiwanese food. Truly the...
Read moreFood was good. Price was good. Customer service left a lot to be desired. There was a bug in my food, I showed it to the woman working there, and she gaslighted me saying it was broccoli. It was CLEARLY a caterpillar of some sort, and I was offered a credit, but overall felt villainized by the woman working there. Even to the end, after her boss and I spoke, she still said “in my opinion, it’s just broccoli”. She had me write my name on a receipt and I stood there waiting for directions on what she was gonna do with it, and all she said to me was “okay, go”. Will not be going back to claim the credit because of that experience. Sometimes you just have to accept that things happen and there are bugs in food, but that doesn’t mean you gaslight...
