They are great sandwiches! You can make a real health choice with some modifications. I did 4 stars because the staff isn't exactly tuned in yet. The ordering is a little sloppy but I have not doubt a properly managed store will work out those bugs. Great employees and so are are very friendly! The ordering comment comes from choosing sides and modifications, I don't get why the guy writes it all down but then they are passing instructions back and forth and then ask me again what I want. Confusing. Then the toppings seems a little unorganized, I'm not sure where in the process I get to say "no tomato" or "light oil" seems to be different with hot and cold sandwiches. This is minor! Great place so far, keep it up!
Update 6 months later. They lost another star... I'm sorry I really really like Jersey Mikes subs but the staff needs work. Today my to-go order was wrong and that's ok it happens. The young man with brown hair and an earing took my bag back and went to find out how to resolve. To be clear what was wrong was a giant sub was made at regular size. So he goes and talks to a blonde lady who then proclaims "I didn't do that it wasn't me, it was (points at another employee", then the young man goes to the other lady (dark hair with some blonde streaks and a lot of eye makeup) and she gets mad and says to the man "I didn't make that" and grumbles something I couldn't hear. Then my bag gets set down on the back counter. I would day about 10 orders got made before the other half of my sub was made. You can see all this on your cameras at about 11:30 AM 6/10/23. The sub wasn't actually made until the man caught my eye again and saw I was still waiting. He asked again, and the blonde lady pointed and rolled her eyes at the other lady. WHOEVER RUNS THIS PLACE GET THE DRAMA OUT!! I only do app orders because they can't make a sup correctly with the tickets, most the time they don't even write things down. Read morewe first discovered JM 13 months ago. a sub shop with gluten free bread, that my kids love and my wife will accept was a wonder and it quickly became a top requested place in our family. we have gotten to the point where its become a place we eat at 2-3 times a month.
i dont think we are coming back after today. for the last 2 months the sandwiches have gotten smaller, the taste worse, and the cost more and we kept coming back because it was still okay.
four visits ago, we walked in to carry out like we always have and stood in line for nearly 45 minutes. it happens, places get busy, we just chalked it up to a rough day. one employee mentioned using the app to order and cut down on the wait.
three visits ago we used the app and it went flawlessly.
two visits ago used the app and had to wait 15 minutes when the food was supposed to be ready, again things happen we are usually happy here.
this visit today, app says food will be ready at 1351 actually get food at 1426........ a 35 minute wait. when i walked in i didnt see my bag, asked the employee if it was going to be a minute, he shouts back to the other workers "NICK IS HERE". doesnt say anything else to me, doesnt give me any more info. 4 seperate groups stood came in and ordered in the store and got their food before mine was ready. people that had app orders to pick up at 1406, 1409 and 1414 all got their food before i got mine. ive never been anything but kind and understanding to the workers, they are just doing their best, but this is insane. how do 7 full orders, placed AFTER mine, get made before. how is there a person stocking an already mostly full chip rack instead of making orders?

Read moreI placed my order online at 525pm I was told my order would be ready at 540pm I walked out with my order at 555pm. I arrived at 540pm and sat and waited for my order to be prepared as people were walking in, placing there order, receiving and eating their food long before my order was ready. To prove this point a couple was ordering as I entered and they were throwing their trash away and getting ready to leave as I left. My advice to anyone reading this is skip the online ordering you are last priority when you do. Just drive there and order and you will receive faster service than if you order online FOR SURE. The staff was friendly and apologized for the wait but did not offer a discount or just to plain comp my meal for taking twice as long to prepare it as promised. I drove past 2 subways on my way there and Jimmy John's usually will deliver my order at 530 on a Saturday within 20 minutes. I think the next time we have subs for dinner I will definitely choose another sandwich shop as I can drive half the distance or have it delivered much quicker.
