Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Clovis

Ok, you might be thinking a review for Carl's Jr. should just be about the service as the food is the same everywhere; you'd be wrong.

I'm a fan of the western bacon cheeseburger. I have ordered it almost every time, with onion rings and a diet Dr. Pepper. (Side note - Why hasn't the Dr. been Knighted yet? I think ordering a Sir, Dr. Pepper is in order after all these years of being a good Dr. SIDE NOTE'S SIDE NOTE - Great show!) Anyway, My wife ordered the new Angus A1 Burger and I just had to try it, or at least that's what she said... Darnit! It was better than my WBC! So now, I'll be ordering that burger instead.

Let's talk about the crew here. I have never seen a rude employee at this place. They really seem to take customer service to heart. There is one employee especially, an older gentleman who is overly polite, always gets the order correct, and has an above average attitude at a place where all of the raise the bar on average.

Now for the bad news...They have a giant play place that my son wants to play in. He's 5 so I get it. The problem is, he can't. This whole COVID-19 thing has it shut down. So, every time we go there, I get to hear a 5 year old tell me how much he wants to play in the play area, but stupid virus has it closed and he can't wait for all of this to go away. Then he goes on a 3 minute rant about the virus closing restaurants, parks, zoos, "basically everything fun" so he is "stuck at home"...lol

The only reason I didn't score 5 stars was because I have to hear this rant every time...

Wanted to give no star's but there's not an option for that. Went here after late shopping. Ordered my food with a simple request of no onions as there is an allergy. When I ordered the food I even said "No onions because there's an allergy" we ordered a super star with swiss cheese No onions and a Philly cheese steak burger with no onions. When we get to the window we are told the cheese stake sandwich comes with onions and were asked if we wanted them to keep the cheese stake off the sandwich, we say just make another Superstar with Swiss cheese and no onions. We get our food, drive 30 mins up the hill to our home. Unload our groceries and get ready to dig in. Both the sandwiches had onion in them. How do you make sure onions shouldn't be on one sandwich but then put onions both. And to get home after a long day and paying $42 for our order and not able to eat the food.......I called and called but was hung up on a few times.

Why don't people look at the order before making it. You can see to substitute for Swiss cheese but you couldn't see the no onions. I will be calling the manager in the morning but so upset that I actually wrote this review. If you have an allergy to anything DO NOT GO HERE. IT COULD BE THE LAST MEAL YOU EAT.

WE HAVE BEEN AT THIS CARL’S JR ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH - NORTH FREEWAY 168 IN CLOVIS CA THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE IS IN THE CLOVIS CROSSING SHOPPING CENTER AND IT SITS AMONG OTHER RETAIL OUTLETS AND EATERIES AND GASOLINE OUTLETS THERE IS THE ARCO AM PM ADJACENT WEST OF CARL’S JR AND THE CHEVRON GAS STATION CORNER OF HERNDON AVE & CLOVIS AVE NORTHEASTERN CORNER STILL IN THE CLOVIS CROSSING SHOPPING CENTER BACK TO THE CARL’S JR THIS WAS OUR FOURTH TIME WE HAD COUPONS ONE COUPON HAD 2 1/3 POUND ANGUS BEEF BURGERS FOR $7.00 BUT I ASKED THE LADY AT THE FRONT COUNTER COULD THEY MAKE THE BURGERS THE WAY IT WAS ADVERTISED JUST LIKE THE PICTURE BUT PLEASE MAKE IT TASTY SHE SMILED AND TOLD THE COOKS MAKE IT LIKE THEY ASKED BEAUTIFUL AND TASTY THIS CARL’S JR IS SINCERE WITH ENTHUSIASTIC EMPLOYEES WILLING TO DELIVER WHAT YOU ASK FOR AND BEYOND THEIR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS IF EVER AT THE CLOVIS CROSSING SHOPPING CENTER STOP BY AND TASTE MOUTH WATERING PERFECTION MY WIFE ATE ALL OF HERS AND DID NOT SHARE AND KEPT TELLING ME HOW DELICIOUS EVEN THOUGH I ATE THE OTHER THE SAME AS HERS THE PICTURE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF BUT THE TASTE ISOUR HAPPY EXPERIENCES THE OTHER COUPON WAS FOR FRIED ZUCCHINI TOTS TASTY AS WELL AND PROPORTION PERFECTLY SINCEREST AND ALL FACTS AMEN...
