Honestly really disappointed in this place. The staff are sweet but for the amount of low traffic they get, they should not be messing up orders as often as they do. I have come here often, and I cannot tell you the number of times they have made my order WRONG. Despite clearly asking them to make sure they make it as ordered. Granita drinks have coffee or caffeine in them. The smoothies dont have caffeine in them, my heart is very sensitive to the coffee based caffeine. I know even without coffee some products have caffeine in them. But I will ASK for a SMOOTHIE and they repeatedly send me a GRANITA, whether im ordering online for delivery or at their drive up myself. They keep doing this, its been more than 8 times in counting and thats absolutely ridiculous for the price youre paying. I dont know why their employees go out of the way to either not read the labels or just not make it right but they're gonna end up landing someone in the hospital someday with their negligence. 15 dollars for a smoothie thats made wrong is absolutely nuts. And the coffee added to drinks is not only basic it makes it taste like horrid garbage too. Was really excited for this place but after several countless reoccurring issues with what seems like 1 or 2 staff members that keep messing up everyone's drink repeatedly and creating waste in the process as well. I dont know if im too eager to order from here anymore despite their sugar free options I was excited for. Either retrain the staff that cant follow instructions or fire them, this location is not nearly as busy to be making errors on the regular like this for products people are paying for.
I cant imagine people who are coming here for the first time and cant discern if their drink was made right or wrong and they are on medication or limitations of some sort where they cant have caffeine or coffee or sodas and then they get their order wrong and end up in a serious medical emergency, not knowing they are basically being poisoned. Very very irresponsible staff
P.S. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location has many issues. The Human Bean is typically a reliable place to get a decent coffee, but this location struggles immensely. Orders are almost always wrong- I went 4 times in the past month due to deals and each time the order was messed up.
Common mistakes are: order is taken completely incorrectly. I will correct it and they will say they got it, then give me the incorrect drink. They will commonly put no syrup in. I know what chocolate tastes like and I can tell when it's not in a drink. The same goes for vanilla, hazelnut, etc. It's very apparent when syrups are not added. There is also something wrong with their water- it tastes like burnt coffee for some reason. I have had multiple issues where the drink is made incorrectly, I correct them at the window, they remake it, and it is still remade incorrectly. This is not for complicated drinks. This is for say, a decaf latte with sugar free chocolate. It will come with no syrup, or when I ask them what they made, it almost always will not be decaf. Another extremely common mistake is putting milk in the drink when I have said multiple times at the window I want almond milk or oat milk or whatever the lactose intolerant person in the car prefers. They will almost always mess this up too.
There also appears to be significant turnover with the staff here with is a management problem. I have run into many new employees that appear to be learning from the ones who are already frequently making mistakes. There are certain people's voices I recognize when they are taking orders and there is one male voice who has had a stunning 100% success rate of getting orders wrong.
