First time using curbside pickup at the location. First, there is no curbside pickup even thought it states it in Google. 😐. Okay. I was fine with that, not a big deal. I went in and told the person at the first counter, by the door withall the pickup bags off to the left, that I was there to pick up an order. She told me it would be a few minutes. That’s all she said, nothing about going to another counter to pay for it. My first time picking up an order at this location. I figured she would let me know when it came out and take the payment at that time like they did at the other location. I was wrong. 😜 Within minutes there were 10 people in the tiny little waiting area and more coming. I continued to wait. It as getting very crowded. Finally I squeezed through everyone to the location of the take out bags and noticed one with my name. I told the girl that was my order. She said go to the front to pay. Too many people to know if there was a line to pay, waiting to be seated, you couldn’t even see the counter. 🤣 I get it they were getting busy. I paid, took my order and asked if there was salsa in the bag. She said yes. Little did I know that I should’ve looked at each meal to be sure all the ingredients I verified when I called were there. 20 minutes later I was opening the meal I ordered and noticed the guacamole, sour cream, Mexican cheese and olives were missing 🤬 I will try the Fresno location when I order take out next time and check the meals before I leave. Never had this issue before but I guess you do have to verify they completed putting the dinner plate together before bringing out to customer. Now I will end with this: As usual the two meals we ordered were very good. Mine would have been better if it was made the way it states...

Sorry no pics. However I'll give you a straight up on this place. So we had a lunch party here on a Saturday. I called in early to reserve a table as it was a large group. I was politely told that they don't usually reserve tables but since it was a large group they would. Okay great...next im asked will it all be on one tab because they don't multiple tags." Hmmm. Well probably not but maybe i can keep it to just two" I answer. Okay great. So i get there and its a nice place as far as decor and ambiance. Looks clean friendly people lots of smiles, it's all good. I order what's called enchiladas cubiertas....for those of you who are scratching your heads. That mean smothered in sauce enchiladas. My plate comes. So it looks good but something is off. The enchiladas are made in a red sauce the covered in a green sauce. Well different, but im game. Here is where its a little odd, mind you this is just my humble opinion as someone who has eaten enchiladas my whole life. Home cooked by Momma and restaurants all over. I've never had any taste sweet as theses did. The rice was a little dry as well. It just was not authentic to me. Could be they are trying a little fusion taste here or maybe that's thier style. However, honestly, traditionally enchiladas are not sweet and sauces are never mixed mostly because the two flavors don't compliment each other. On the other hand everyone else in the party seemed to be enjoying thier food. So you all know what im all about. Customer service is the big one on my way of thinking and that was really good. Place was clean and neat looking with nice decor. So im going to give them 👍👍👍. I will recommend them but can't honestly say they are great. But try it out for your self and tell me...

I eat at Toledos often, I have for many years. Though I usually eat the same thing every time, I have tried many things on the menu. While I love the salsa, and usually have great food, service can be a mixed bag and really inconsistent. Many years ago I stopped going to to Toledos cause of several visit with horrible service, but returned when I couldn't find another Mexican Restaurant where I liked the salsa and returned.

During my last night the the visit started off on a really bad foot as the waiter mixed up drinks and other than the food it self went down hill from there. Than later in the visit asked us once if we wanted more chips and salsa 10 minuted later we had to ask the person who brought our food.

The previous visit I had here last weekend service wise was the exact opposite. Server was excellent and attentive, had what we needed when we needed it.

All that said I would still recommend any of the Toledo's in the Fresno/Clovis with the caveat that you might be gambling on service. But you will leave full and...

The service was great, food was just okay. The salsa that came with the complimentary chips was just okay and after asking for a more mild salsa it was just way too smoky. The Cumin flavor in the soup was overpowering but the meatballs seemed fresh and were tasty. I got a combination with an enchilada tamale and chile relleno. Each was just okay but once again there was way too much cumin flavor in the enchilada sauce The tamale was the best. The tostada was large and my father-in-law seemed to enjoy it. The chicken inside of my mother-in-law's chicken burrito was too hard to cut through let alone eat so that was disappointing. We had to wait for a table even though half the restaurant was empty. I do want to stress again that our server was incredible he kept up with everything we wanted and was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Just wish the food would have been better.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been in California 2 1/2 years and this was the very first Mexican restaurant that I actually say I enjoyed my food. All the staff was very friendly also very attentive to my drink refills and my needs, from the waiter to the manager to the other servers I had about 4 different employees check on me. The atmosphere and the people there really friendly, really upbeat place, nothing crazy super family friendly. I had the “Carne Asada a la Tampiqueña” super delicious the meat was seasoned perfectly, the cheeses enchilada hit the spot, rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned the beans where just right not to thick not to watery, perfection on a plate. If you are in the area this restaurant is a must try. Definitely will be returning as soon as tomorrow to try something new.
