Graeter's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Colerain Township

When visiting today around 3:40 I encountered a rude and impatient employee Named Tammy. She arrived as I walked into the ice cream parlor with food from Panera and slammed it on the counter then proceeded to ask me what I needed huffing and puffing. I asked for a sample and she begrudgingly proceeded to assist me. She impatiently asked what else as she rolled her eyes and stomped her foot. I ordered my kids cones and she waited no time for me to pause and rudely asked if I was getting anything. I said "I understand that you have lunch to eat but you need to give me a minute. She then replied that she was not eating but had other things to do! How rude! That is not quality customer service! As a nurse I am pondering this situation and can't quite recall whether or not she washed her hands after coming in from leaving one young girl at the shop to serve everyone who comes in while she left to get food. My wife and I came here to have an ice cream cone together and had a very nice time. I may just be pining for the good old days but it seems to me that when we came here years ago and got any of their chocolate chip product ice cream that we could always depend on one or even two loomer's of chocolate chip. One or maybe two chips in the ice cream would be almost as big as a macadamia nut. Now it seems like all the chocolate chips are the size of fingernail filings or smaller. I think some point in the last 15 years they changed over their machines from having big strong Burly men scraping the ice cream freezers and the chips to mechanical ice cream makers. It was our first time inside the store, We had been through the drive thru before. Took my grandkids inside for an added treat since they don't get to go "shopping " very much with all that is going on. It was very clean. Store personnel were very polite and helpful. We got ice cream and it was awesome. The ice cream was rich and creamy, the flavors were good and everything tasted fresh. My grandson got some buckeyes and they are great. Rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter. We got a coffee cake that looks and smells delicious, that is for breakfast. Too much to choose from, all looked good.
